You got some outstanding items for very little money. With the extra fruit , I think you can make a delicious cooked compote or even a nice breakfast or midday smoothy. With those extra blueberries I would make a quick jam and store it in my fridge. Just berries and bit of sugar cooked down. You have an amazing flair for styling your meals so professionally. Great savings, congratulations! Actually there's an easy trick to keep your bread longer fresh. Put the slices in a plastic bag and chuck it in the freezer. You can easily access single slices and toast them as needed.
❤ awesome 9 p deals. What we do in Australia with grapes, watermelon and blueberry is freeze them and either blend them up as s slushy or use them like ice cubes. Yummo! Pre cut melon and tropical fruit seems to ferment for us so I don't buy it reduced. Wow! I wish I had access to a Sainsburys near me, the only shop I can get to without a lift is Waitrose and their system doesn't let the staff reduce things nearly enough. Looks like a very healthy eating week for you then :)
For the supermarkets round here 7pm onwards..8pm for the best reductions but that depends if there’s any left. I think it all depends where you live, I’ve seen people get great reductions at 5pm. Best if you can, is to go at various times to your local supermarkets or ask the staff. 🍇🫐🍇
5p! Is that a record? The trouble is that now when we see you buy things at 25p we think it’s expensive 😂. What are those fishfingers like? Are they all skin and grey and gristly? Birdseye cod ffingers are currently £7.70 for 30 so that’s a massive difference, and I do love a ffinger sandwich.
8pm but I think it depends from store to store.. it’s best to get your nearest store and even ask friendly assistants on those departments what time they do their reductions, hope that helps
