My BIGGEST Challenge!! // All Points North 

When the random guy at the service station asks, "You going far?" and you just say "Yeah". And TBH 99% of non cyclists wouldn't believe you if you said, " aw just 600 odd miles! " You're incredible. Totally audacious!

That is absolutely stunning. I'm doing a 24-hour cancer survivor's marathon in late July that's going to be grueling and this is fantastic inspiration.

I am not one to comment, but I have been following you for a while and I want to say huge congratulations. What an epic ride. I love how human you are about all of it as well. I want to go on long rides on my own but I am just a bit scared of doing it and your channel gives me the confidence to just get on the bike and do it. Thank you, Katie. 🙂

Amazing achievement 💪🏻I managed my longest ride a couple of weeks back, 140km, often wanting to bail and take a shorter route home, I'd think what would Katie do .. plod on and get the job done. So I did. You're a motivation in many ways that extend beyond planet youtube.

Thank you for the inspiration! I’ve got the 328km Chase the Sun North coming up on the 18th June and it will be the furthest I’ve ever ridden. You have such a great attitude to be able to keep going and pushing yourself to the limit. Long distances are such a mental battle and you have amazing inner strength to do what you do. Congratulations on this magnificent achievement, that’s been a few years in the making.

I was introduced to your RU-vid presence by algorithms a couple of years ago and couldn’t watch them as they seemed to be an “all about me” kind of thing. In the mean time, not only are the movies you make thoroughly entertaining but the experiences and efforts you clearly so enjoy completely inspirational. Lang may yer lum reek! That from an over 70 pedal pusher trying not to fall off the cliff after 100km.

Well done Katie, kudos to you for completing that ride in the time you did it. I was also a participant and it took me nearly two more days to finish it than I expected (last but one finisher). It was extremely demanding, not least starting off with 14 hours of constant rain through the night and next day. I saw you three times on the ride, we were going in the opposite direction each time! Once at Bamburgh Castle, once near Ulpha, and once in the middle of nowhere, maybe near Bewcastle? Anyway, get some well deserved rest before your next big challenge.

Aw, now you're just showing off. ;) Well done, though!!! :) I used to be as obsessed with motorsport as I am now with cycling, and I would go to spectate at the 1000km sportscar races (same series as Le Mans, which is this weekend, although it's 'only' 24 hours compared to your ~76!). It's never even occurred to me to try to ride 1000km, maybe because it's never occurred to me that I ever could - I've thought about cycling 24 hours but what you've just done is on a whole other level. I cycle for transport and with the local touring club, but the furthest I've ridden so far in one go is 200km and that was my limit - I hadn't trained, I never train, I just ride wherever I'm going (haven't run a car for 12 years or used public transport for 7) - it's an organic process, the only trouble is I don't go far enough. But it would be something to work towards and I need that in my life (maybe even a reason for living, tbh), so I'd better make a start or I'll run out of years. Maybe 24 hours first (or, well, not first but eventually), then (even more eventually) 1000km. Thanks for the inspiration. Keep doing what you're doing.
