This is officially MY BIGGEST EVER TRY ON THRIFT HAUL 51 ITEMS. I'm finally out of lockdown, so my first destination was a trip to my local op shop - which I visited every day for the first week! I know, cuz! The thrifting up on the Coast is the cheapest there is! And if you love Vintage - it's a treasure trove! So many comments about the black jumpsuit!!! I tried it on again and decided to keep and wear it out soon. Perhaps one night when we're out on the town again ; D I feel pretty scandalous in it - so I gotta style it right. OMG you are hilarious! That was fun and thanks for the memories. That Anthea Crawford transported me back to shopping in 80’s boutiques with my mum. And can i also say Miss Jo Jo you absolutely MUST keep an wear that black jumpsuit, it looked amazing on you and such a versatile piece, you can totes boho it up or turn it a bit hard core rock chic or Parisian. Stop with the I’m to short blah blah! I’m just as tall as you and plus size and i rock a play suit, or a jumpsuit as we called them in the 80’s girlfriend! I want to see you style this piece up please and thank you. Glad you’ve hit the op shops again, i have been hesitant to get back out there myself, but I look forward to someday soon. Loving the pins and needles top.. Kinda looks very helga may. Several of the pants are gorge...fun tip for those buttons.. Put a spot of clear nail vanish on the cotton the buttons sewn on with, you will never have to resew a button back on again.. 😉

Glassons is a kiwi brand I think I remember it from the 90s They made great basics affording for the young working girl All girls in a bignflat bought the same basic bootcut black trousers for $40 (alot at the time) - we loved them! I remember when i saw them open in Malls here in Aust, many years after i started living here. That's why I think it might be a NZ label. They had kiwi shop assistants, too!

Hi Jo. I just knew you were going to make me jealous again. Everything you got was so gorgeous and I can't believe for only $1.00!!!! You can't buy anything where I live for $1.00. If pants or shorts are too large that is an easy alteration. What do you mean by "cast off"? That's a great idea to wear a top backwards. I really adore your style. Are you a Theoretical Romantic? Sherry, I don't mean to make you jealous. Honestly! ; D But I can't say I blame you. The prices in my sleepy, small town are the best there is. Cast off? I don't remember saying that..... Thank you, lovely. That compliment never gets old. I don't know about theoretical but I do consider myself a true romantic. But not in a cheesy way, if you know what I mean. Not into Valentines Day, roses, and corny demonstrations of love. But I can tell you I romanticise everything. I have a love affair with words. Self expression and intimacy is romantic to me. Hi Jo. Thanks for replying. That sounds too much like me. That has cost me alot of money and mistakes. I can never be a true minimilist however I really do need to keep de-cluttering. That's why I think it's helping me to discover my Dressing Your Truth Type and my Kibbe Type. I still make shopping mistakes because I adore too many types of styles, colours and patterns. I also feel (unfortunately) as a mature I need a more classic, sophisticated and streamlined approach to shopping. I'm still a work in progress, ha ha!! Again many thanks for your reply.

Love the animal.print dress..... I am a bit in love with neutral colours, Wish I.could wear spaghetti straps now but prefer to.cover my bra straps these days heading to 50. You scored big time!! You have to keep the black jumpsuit! It looked amazing on you! BTW. How do you know for sure when something is vintage? I can never tell for sure.

Did I ever!!!! That jumpsuit will get me in trouble!!! ; D There are a few telltale signs if a garment is vintage... The fabric composition tag will be sewn tucked under the label at neck of garment. Single stitched hems and cuffs. Old fashioned font used on branding. If you don't recognise the label - it's probably vintage. Or if you do recognise the brand but the label is different - it's probably vintage. Old world buttons and and hidden metal zips. Shoulder pads. I actually had a ramble on how to spot vintage but I cut it out as the video was so bloody loooooooooong xx

Wow, what a great haul. The white name labels that are in some of the garments can be removed by using an iron. Heat up the label then pick off. Just watch any elastic or the thinner material. 😊
