Did you know you can make spikes from sticks. You can place a stick in the ground and hit the end to make a spike. The spikes protect agains mutants and cannibals even the big red guys and you can reinforce the spikes with 3 rocks. Also ive been watching since episode 1 👍👍

you've been killing it on posting every day this is great!

I've prepared my dinner, sat on my computer and was gonna watch something while eating. And 10mins ago, you uploaded a new episode and made my evening.

when i was building my mansion, i found a LOT of cases where i had to use half logs as struts on support corners, or else i couldn't remove certain supports on the interior that i didn't want in the way. looks pretty decent too

There are some really cool ice caves on the map in wich you can build really nice and cousy interiors without using any cheats or bugs.

anyone whos playing sotf rn knows how much of a grind this project is

Quick fact: The tower itself is actually called Orthanc, it's the entire fortress that's called Isengard. Keep up the good work, BB!

Tip: You can use the axe on tree stumps to get rid of them. It will turn to a small pile of wood (you cannot pick up) and then disappear after a few minutes

There should be like a privet server where builder YT for sons of the forest to showcase their builds because 1 mega project is cool, but it'd be cooler if 8 people did their own mega project and there was 8 huge structures like these. I would probably start uploading SOTF content if there was such a server. I've been impressed by many builds the SOTF YT have been building, like Farket's big wall, your amazing structures you've built so far and other YT. But it'd be cool if all were on the same island public island instead of local. Kinda like hermit forest lol

Hey Broadbent! A building tip ive learned! If you set up a plank on a section and then put a robe on it, you can fill the whole thing with planks and have the rope on it at the same time! Then you can make a hole on the middle of the plank to have a way for you to climb up the rope you placed!

the freedom for creativity to build in this game is quite impressive! your colossal project is looking great!

Been loving this series please continue!! quick tip: it seems like youve been missing the Pouches that the cannibals drop after you have sliced them. Try to go over their body and make sure the dont drop anything next time. Pouches can be opened in your inventory for extra supplies.

@Broadbent Did you know you can put items on Quickslots now? Just hover over the item in the inventory and press a number from 1-9.

when building always have meds on a quick slot. it helps a lot with hard and sudden attacks

If you reinforce corners with half logs to make a brace, you can space the uprights further apart

As much as I'm aware, the golden armor only protects from demons, and I think they only dwell underground, near the endgame. It protects so much, they legit don't do dmg to you. But aside from those, it provides NO protection from anything else.

don't forget that Veronica can duel wield the pistol and shotgun for extra killy killy.

"the worm" gives me so many flashbakcs to the first game lol. I call him "flip-flop" cuz it makes it more fun to fight it lmao.

This tower makes you think about medieval building. For some reason it also reminds me of that intro video of Age of Empires 2.

We are making a Trump Tower, like the NYC one. So much work involved

use the golden armour when fighting demonic cretures (worms etc) it take no damage at all btw, and use creepy armour against normal cannibals as golden armour doesnt do much against them.

If you do not want your buildings to be destroyed you can switch of structure damage in the settings😉🤙🏻

Watching your video (and previous floating base) I came to decision to build my next base, on the ground level, with two half logs as pillars - not to build floating base, but to ensure that attacks wont torn down whole building.

You should make the Eye of Sauron on the other side of the map before the end of the series. so we can have the two towers.

Plans to build a base on top of an not-so-ancient burial ground,,, That turned out very nicely though. Awesome! Now all you need is a few hobbits to take there.

I, and some others, have been calling the worm mutant "Catdog" from the cartoon. I think its actual name is John 2.0. The name of the worm mutant in the first one was named John.

You are brilliant, intelligent, creative. Everything looks better in this game when you are playing.

Try to find the chainsaw... it will help you a lot in chopping down the trees for logs

I have started calling this game "Sons of Deforest" because of the sheer number of trees that you need to fell in order to complete even a moderately sized build.

Idea for your next video is to test how big or how tall tree house could be! That would be fun also challenging to do, like try to build base tree house base camp or like tree houses connected to one another like camp in the middle of deep forest? 😂

considering the massive structures you build, you're a gentleman and a scholar for not using the log glitch. lol

To get that under slope, could you make a ramp/stairs and use that for the ascetics?

Looks great, shame the tops not above the treeline though - would make a great lookout point

best thing for building massive structures is to use the infinite wood glitch. It saves time by half

because you are so high and out of render distance for enemy to spawn, the base might be invincible XD

Wouldn't the small diagonal corner logs help with the overall structural integrity and make it harder (especially for the big red dudes) to make the building collapse?

i made a ocean base on a small island and had a worm twin spawn right on top of me along with babies. was the scariest thing I've ever witnessed lol

Yea I just turned off building damage cuz I went on a trip and came back with by base in pieces. They still attack your base when you’re gone

Honestly, if I crash landed on this island. My first logical plan of action would probably be to build a wizard tower as well.

you said you wanted to make the bottom of the spikes sloped; you could have used 3/4-Logs instead of 2/4-Logs for the support diagonal. its not perfect, but a bit better

I saw a video that if you pause while on a zipline it increases your momentum the longer you pause. idk if this is correct but it'd be fun to mess around with. its might be patched by now tho
