After 2 years of production, I’m so happy to launch “The Virtual Reality Show STUDIO” world in VRChat!! :D In collaboration with my favorite world-builder Sly, we’ve created an all-in-one live event and production space totally & completely in virtual reality. This got more impressive than I initially expected. Machinima came first to show us that one can use real time game engine to make independent films much cheaper than using full CGI... Now this of using actual VR actors (I kind of connect it to how AAA game companies are using real actors to make the mocap, as human real acting is much more, well, real than animations (although an animator can add a lot more, in a way, to "real" animations) and faster to do) who are acting in their homes with a script written by the team, all coordinated, and pull some assets from here and there to build the world and universe (I'm a modeler, but even I know sometimes is faster to just buy assets).The shots that I have seen there DID caught my attention. It's higher quality than the usual real time VR 3D. I can see a ton of possibilities.

When I first gotten vrchat, I went world hopping until I found the game show hub where we do game shows in VRChat. It made me be able to do what I wanted for so long, hosting in a game show.

Just went to the venue and I was blown away - top quality. I love how the separate rooms seamlessly blend into one another. The DJ setup looks really cool too (and coincidentally helped me figure out a work-around for having an 11 year old PC that doesn’t handle multiple camera‘s screens and tabs open while doing VRC and trying to run OBS all at the same time 😅) Hopefully I‘ll be able to join one of the actual events live sometime - lil‘ worried though that timezones get in the way (I‘m in the EU)

I can't wait to finish building my new PC. Because that's when I'll get into VR. My current PC isn't quite up to snuff for good VR. So I'm putting all my money into building a stupidly powerful ( and expensive ) gaming PC, then will probably go nuts on ordering the best VR stuff I can reasonably buy. Phia and others have done nothing but get me more and more excited for the world of VR and it's endless possibilities to bring people together, have new types of interactions, and new types of experiences that's only possible in VR.

Very nice! My project is buy an VR because i found this is the most magical thing i found on this world. VR is magic! I love to see everyone doing what they are best inside VR, i wish i could exploit some skils i have or dream of create something inside VR world, but i think on final what i love is enjoy VR worlds... What i dream after an VR wireles like quest 2 and play many games alongside PC, is make an game for VR, creating an world where everyone can feel inside an fantasy rpg and fight..something like skyrim

I love the idea of the dome. I love a good scenery. Mostly because I don’t really get a lot of that in the small city I live in. Just earlier, I was admiring the view I got in the Virtual Desktop apartment. Anyways, the dome seems like something that would fill people with lots of awe.

I was an early adopter of Second Life. My idea there was to expose and eventually sell my 2D art and my 3D models. Even icons, pixel art and graphic design items. But it was not easy to get a lot of people in a single point, all the "houses" and properties were like very isolated and sort of disconnected. On top of that, one could only pay and charge in lindens, a coin which was incredibly low with actual real money, and worse, the people (other artists, etc) put the prices of artwork extremely low (equivalent to 1 or 5 dollars, lol), which is the fastest way (imo) to destroy a market and a field. So, it did never reach the point to become a real option. I hope now with the current push of VR, Meta, etc... this whole thing changes. I still envision myself being able to sell, -or at least exhibit- my art, paintings, etc. It'd be cool if these places included 2D gallery exhibits... Most people wouldn't buy, but would freely enjoy it... while a very small few might be interested in , for example, obtaining the painted original (oils, watercolors, etc) shipped to them, or a higher resolution version, a full animation, etc, etc.

Super excited to see that the studio is finally released!!! With the high barrier to entry to learn how to build worlds from scratch, I can see this being one of THE hubs for all types of people in VRChat for the far foreseeable future.
