Hey everyone!! You have all been asking for this one for so long, apologies Mum life got me side tracked!! But here it is, with timestamps (as much as myself & Mark could remember!)
With a special cameo from Jude, who we welcomed on June 23rd 2023 and we are beyond blessed.
I have spoken about how my original birth plan didn’t actually happen and everything that led up to the birth of our beautiful boy Jude.
This conversation is very raw and honest, it’s my true feelings on what I experienced and crucially everything I discuss is just my personal feeling based off my own experience, so please be kind!
We’re so happy to have welcome Jude almost 2 months ago now and can’t thank everyone enough for all your messages and support! I hope you love this video and please leave any questions in the comments.
Much love and positivity Mon (& Jude) xx

LOVED watching this! It’s so much detail! I did a birth video that was hugely positive and I loved the process so much, it’s lovely to see you glowing and speaking about how our babies know best ☺️

Hardly any “influencers” influence* their audience by describing a natural, physiological process that requires no intervention so big respect for you for promoting birth the way it is designed to be. Congrats on a gorgeous birth. ❤

Congratulations!! Thank you for speaking up about this! Positive, unmedicated births are sadly so rare and unheard of. I had an unmedicated planned home birth but ended up in the labour ward. I wish I had a doula to advocate for me. Will definitely have one for my next birth.

This was a great video and so encouraging too. Really appreciate your realness and sharing that we as women are made to do this and have options when it comes what happens during the labour process to have a positive birth experience. Thank you for sharing your story, so glad to hear you had such an amazing birthing experience. Baby Jude is too cute!

I really like how you explained your birth story and how the pregnancy experience did have its highs and lows and how you overcome this experience and the love and support from your mum and your partner being there for you. Thank you for sharing your pregnancy story and how to prepare for pregnancy. Your Lovely baby Jude is so cute and adorable.❤❤😍😍🥰🥰😊😊

Thank you 🤍 You don’t usually hear the truth behind birth! You only ever get told when things go wrong or or how painful it all is which is not encouraging to those of us who haven’t yet gone through it! Thank you, thank you for being so honest and talking through the process step by step Also that fun fact about V’s during labour has opened my eyes 🤯 mind blown 😂!! Thank you xxxx

Congratulations, I love your birth story and I really can relate. My baby was due on Friday 23rd June 2023 and I actually gave birth on Wednesday 28th June 2023. I’m 28 years of age and had an emergency c section with a blood transfusion, baby had to go NICU as we were both treated for sepsis. My birth didn’t go to plan either but i definitely agree using positive affirmations in pregnancy and processing each moment really helped. I hope you are well and congratulations on the birth of baby Jude xxxx

You make a very good point about the post partum perjod and how tough that is. Absolutely the birth you have will influence that time. Thanks for sharing you speak a lot of truths and i can see you prepared for birth and we should all do the same

So lovely hearing your birth story but I cried a little when you said you tore badly and had a first degree tear.. I tore internally and externally 3b external and 4 internally…. I was too scared to ask how many stitches I had but they took nearly 3 hours repairing it 🤣 Girls why we pushing these babies out at lightening speeds hurting ourselves 🤣

I also transferred to hospital from a home birth. My labor was 44 hrs and your girl was EXHAUSTED at around hour 36. I had to get an epidural and take a nap lol

Congratulations on your labour and birth experience! Lets not scare people about labour wards. My birth team scared me eith the thought of it, id also planned a home birth but ended up in hospital. If id have gone to the labour ward sooner, id have likely had a pool birth, but instead i stayed on the midwife led unit and didnt progress. The labour ward was EXACTLY the same as the midwife led unit, nothing to be scared of at all.

Stop spreading misinformation. Montana literally gives a couple of instances in which they are different and anyone doing their research will know better. They are not the same.
@jadefoley15
@jadefoley15 2 месяца назад
@@1sweetlittleprincess this isn't misinformation. This is literally my experience. The main difference is who is caring/watching you progress. Labouring women don't need to be afraid of labouring in a labour ward if they're informed.

You had a 3rd, possible 4th degree tear not a 1st. 1st is like a graze, make sure people know what you’ve been through 😅😂

Not a fan couldn’t watch the rest, some people don’t want to admit the pain 😂 either that you can’t remember it! Nothing wrong with the Labour ward and it’s actually safer:)
@EMay-lr7hj
@EMay-lr7hj 8 месяцев назад
This isn’t actually true; the Lancet research (top medical journal) has confirms that home birth is safer for mum’s and as safe for babies. That’s not to say that it’s for everyone, but it’s wrong to say that the labour ward is safer.
