I had some terrible stuff happen on my birthday a long time ago too. I've spent every year just staying home with a couple of bottles of scotch. Drink my misery away, take the following day off to rehydrate and recuperate, then meet up with my family the following weekend to get my gifts/cards.

I always feel like I can relate to you Will, but this is by far the most relatable. I was also born in September, and for me it's the most traumatic time of the year. My PTSD always hits me hardest during that month and I almost NEVER do anything for my birthday. Even when I hit 30, I refused to see anyone.

Will is such a talented story teller. I can relate man, I lost a close friend of mine not too far from my bday, and I’ve never really enjoyed celebrating it. I’d rather just spend the day doing something I enjoy, having plans just stresses me out I assume something will go wrong

my birthday is cursed much in the same fashion. I haven't celebrated it since I was 13. I'm not a supersitious person for the most part, but be born on a Friday, on the 13th of the month, certainly has me questioning some things. I feel for ya Will.

My birthday is in late December and within that time while in high school and college I lost my best friend to someone poisoning him with heroin, my ex girlfriend cheated on me the year later, the year after I was hospitalized for pulmonary failure, and the next I got T-boned with my new car that I bought with my own money as a gift to myself. The car was my crowning achievement, it was a 2017 VW Jetta with a twin turbo, brand new off the conveyer belt. If anyone celebrates my birthday I reject it. I do not care about anything else, half birthday or otherwise; just not my birthday.

My birthday is tomorrow and I feel this so much. Was planning on getting myself a cat (haven't had a birthday gift in over 4 years) and 5 days before my birthday I got a $700 charge, I'm only 21 and started my life journey right before covid hit. I am not rich. I am also now very sad. Birthdays have always been terrible for me but I felt like I deserved a little buddy for all the bs I've had to go through, but I guess not. Idk. When I worked at furniture store once I had a customer come up to me and ask if we had someplace to charge her phone because it died, she had a Tesla and needed it to turn on her car and drive home. Tying the ability to start your car to your cellphone is a terrible idea

Same Every day without fail on the day of my birthday is the worst day of my life i have the worst luck and i beg my family and friends not to celebrate it, and i once cried in front of my school because they sang happy birthday, and when i got home my brother locked my out of the house and I forgot the garage code, it was 60 outside and i had no sweatshirts, i had to wait an hour till my mom got home.

when i was a teen my dad died three days after my bday. my little brother died this year a week before my birthday. I also have a cursed birthday. What sucks is I LOVE BIRTHDAYS. I love celebrating the life of my people.. i just get scared to do mine.

eyy same here i was convinced i was going to die on my 21st. it started on my 18th b day, my b day is oct 29, and it was supposed to be senior year homecoming i had a date then bam, huge snow storm, it was cancelel dpower out for lik 4 days trapped with my grandmother. then my 19th b day comes, and it was fucking hurrican sandy, i was out of work for 2 weeks almost lost my apartment no power. then my 20th happened and the injury that has now effected me since then ( im 29 now) happened and I was in the hospital for 4 days and off and on for a few weeks after, my kidneys almost failed and i destroyed my back to the point it caused arthritis..... so now add alcohol into the mix and i thought i was going to die..... nah it was just a whack ass 21st b day where i spent it celebrating someone elses b day.

Who knew will would be present for 2 major firings in his career. shit sucks, man. praying for wellness for you, and everyone at G4
