Absolutely. There’s just no way a totally straight man would constantly focus on hunky & sexy dudes in this way (and throughout the whole series) on a regular basis.
Good vid, you totally deserve more views/subs. Golden Kamuy is really the first non-BL series I've seen that has bara male fanservice, and that manages to be funny about it without being mocking. Almost every character feels like they could be/are bisexual which isn't something I see often either, especially in an action oriented series. Feels like everything I wished for while growing up watching shonen and shipping the characters lol.
It’s an adult series, but one of my favorite BL manga is “Bad Boys, Happy Home”. GK wasn’t a gay awakening for me, but after a lot of the toxicity and pain of being queer in my teens and early 20s were definitely washed away by GK. I love everything about the series, and try my best to get anyone to watch it.
i’m here really late having just finished the whole manga looking for other peoples perspectives yada yada. I find this and your mentioned video really interesting and fun, and i’m totally gonna try out making one of those drinks. I know you will probably not see this but I just wanted to tell you that your videos seem really great so far and i’m happy to have found this channel.
I was on my way to recommend Banana Fish and then the last section happened. The show is wild and honestly it impacted me by a lot, now simply high up there by my personal rating, glad you covered it in the video. As for suggestion, I've got one, it's not a BL though, but it might be something you'd enjoy watching if you haven't already, it's called Gangsta. it's sad that the studio went bankrupt soon after and the anime wouldn't seem to get the rest of the story solved, but it's still a great one nonetheless.
by the way there’s more ogata content in the manga, the manga is actually a lot better you should read it, really good video enjoyed it a lot 😀👨🌾♥️♥️♥️♥️👍
If you're open to BL mangas suggestions rather than anime, you could check Yuki & Matsu by Hidebu Takahashi. If you liked Golden Kamuy it might be a pretty good call, it's an historical setting that can be grim and violent at times, very inspired by old school samurai dramas and revenge stories, Satoru Noda actually recommended it himself, but honestly my main selling point is that it's one of the most brilliant piece of comic i've read in terms of pure cartoonistery, it's gorgeously drawn, gorgeously writen, well paced, i could tell you that the layouts are *elegant* as if these two words put together made any f~king sense but i assure you and the romance basically opened a fourth ventricule in my heart. It is. Very good. i liked it a lot. (edit: sorry for potential bad english, i'm not a native speaker and also possess the iq of a brick)
