Jeeeez, max this video, scared me sooo much, i wish i understood electrics 😅~ iv only ever had a split charger,n leisure battery 27yrs in vans, but this yr bought a flexible solar panel n ecoflow river pack, id love to get bit of a system together,for the new build, I'll message b4 i start, see how much u charge, to fit all the wiring/ boxs etc, rather have simple for me 😂~ great video again 👍

Great vlog and setup matey! We're revisiting our electrical setup next year and looking at replacing all with bluetooth management for items with out bluetooth etc . Is the JK BMS managed without bluetooth and if yes do you mind me asking which model?

@gigvanrig no sadly it does have Bluetooth. But Richard mentioned you can always line the area with tin foil to block it 🤔

Good setup, I'd go 48v if building mine from scratch, just as thats the new off grid standard everything is being built for. I do suffer the wire and MMPT issues with 2kw solar on 12v. Another shout out for Andy's channel for good info.

@RustyRoseAdventures only disadvantage is at least 2 panels in series. I quite like the shading resistance of single panels in a string. But with more houses wirh battery/solar there are more and more 48v items out there and only getting more common.

Fair point, but if you minus the £1200 for the battery and used a £500 one you’d have a £1500 electrics setup which is not bad as that will power you probably all year round. Basically my setup is quite large but if you took the same (non victron) components I have on half the scale then it would be very reasonable due to the components I use. Also My system is very specific to me and therefore I would not recommend anyone copy it directly as their uses would be diffierent 👍
