Great set up .I use similar and sometime dampen the crash with a small towel if I don't want a loud crash occasionally...all you Videos are very well produced.kudos 😁
Amazing ! What stand are you using for Travel Cajon ? And do you have any recommendations if I want to play my Meinl Slap-Top Cajon and Meinl Bongo Cajon standing ? Any stands which you know of ?
Felipe, great set up. I have been looking at adding a cabasa to my LP cajon. I find it interesting that I can only find one company that makes one specifically for cajon and it’s neither LO or Meinl. 🤷♂️
I thing for this set up you mentioned is better to play a conventional cajon. The slaptop can be a good option if you adapt it in a stand, this way you can have more freedom to play the other elements.
Hi Rui, I'm using a Meinl cowbell clamp - geni.us/ccpw5 - adapted in a standard Yamaha cymbal boom stand. I'm sure you can use other stands, just need to find the ones that fits the cowbell clamp.
Kkk. Saudações e parabéns pelo projeto, vou seguir.
Hi Felipe nice Cajon set up. Quick question which stand do you use for your travel Cajon, I have one too, but want to know which stand is better. Looking forward hearing from you soon. Cheers. Abrazo.
Would like to see you demo the Meinl Percussion Artisan Edition Pickup Cajon And use a Cajon bass pedal Then use the Meinl Percussion Pickup Cajon Snare with rods and brushes Add in the current cymbals you have
Hey Martín, I'm using a Meinl cowbell clamp - geni.us/ccpw5 - adapted in a standard Yamaha cymbal boom stand. I'm sure you can use other stands, just need to find the ones that fits the cowbell clamp.
Hi Waldemar, thanks for your message! I’ve just post a video showing a cajon pedal. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_L2IyJlgVhM.html Let me know what do you think 😉🙏
Felipe, which brushes are you using? Jazz or nylon? I have the same travel cajon and a both brushes but with the jazz ones it could damage the paint a little. I made a few marks and changed to nylon. (the sound, sadly, is different)
Hi Martin, thanks for your comment here. I use both types of brushes nylon and jazz metal brushes. Maybe the jazz brush can leave marks on the cajon but the sound is great. Maybe if you choose a light jazz brush? This video might help you, have a look - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-K7XFkWgx4Bo.html
@@CajonMaster thank you Felipe!!! Do you think a mini djembe (4,5x8) will do with the travel cajon as a mini Tom? Just for practice and playing with the sounds or its too small? I would love to buy a 10 meinl black river djembe to join my cocktail kit. Thank you for your answer!
I love my SABIAN 11" AAX X-Plosion Splash cymbal for my cajon hybrid set up. With hands or nylon rods/brushes, as the name states, it EXPLODES and is perfect for Cajon hybrid setups. Check it out!
