Thank you so much for sharing with us. I was diagnosed with uterine cancer about 4 months after you - yours was one of the first videos I found once I started researching. Your hair cut video made me laugh and cry happy tears of relief. I really felt your personality and strength and hope - you gave all of those to me. I’m so sad to hear of the recurrence, but I know the reality of dealing with this. I’m so inspired and sending you all the love and strength as you start this fight again. I had the port for my treatment, it was an adjustment for sure (still have it, so strange to feel it in my chest!) but definitely made things easier. One weird quirk, I could always ‘taste’ the saline when they flushed it before infusion, in the back of my throat? Helped to have a mint or gum on hand. My mother started painting when she retired, and watching her flourish the last few years in her art has been such a gift. I love seeing your painting and passion - thank you so much for sharing that as well!
Thank you so much for reaching out to me! I am thrilled that my videos have been helpful and it is do rewarding to hear from fellow warriors! Thanks for sharing your experience about the port! I am hoping it will make things easier as I am a hard stick and always caused me a lot of anxiety. Please stay in touch as we follow each other’s journey!
@@ARTbyKDR Karen you have been such a help to us all who read your story . I’ve just lost my hair and I don’t mind . I’m looking at this journey as my metamorphosis . I remember your pink hair . Maybe when I grow new hair I’ll dye it pink . 😃😃😃
Oh Karen, you are one of the bravest people I know! And you so do NOT deserve this! You know I will keep you in my thoughts and will keep sending positive wishes and vibes your way!! Yes! Keep fighting! Big hugs!!
Your apple watch is amazing, so happy you were able to get help when you fell. My thoughts will be with you on fighting this reaccurance. Sadly my sister passed away in September. She fought her cancer for almost 3 years.
God bless you! You will be included in my prayers! You have such determination that I do believe that you've got this!! Good luck with the surgery. Sending positive vibes!
I was diagnosed with UPSC in 2017 and have been doing fairly well. I’m having some kidney problems all of the sudden. I just had a sonogram yesterday. We’ll see how that goes. I’m sorry about your reoccurrence. Will keep you in my prayers!
Not sure. I had 6 chemos after first recurrence for prevention as the margins from surgery were clear. 3 months after finishing chemo, I developed the second recurrence in my lymph node. I figure that it might have spread further if I had not had chemo.
@@ARTbyKDR thank you for replying to me . I’ve searched for others who have the same type of cancer but theyre hard to find . I will keep you in my prayers . ❤️❤️❤️

My first recurrence was in 2021 ( when i broke my arm the time of this video). I then had 6?rounds of chemo 3 months after finishing chemo i had a second recurrence and had it surgically removed. I am doing well
