Well thats very helpful i fo .my case is in nvc since October 2023 n i didnt know what to do next so now i got it .i have a letter received already from nvc
I’m having an error to upload my civil documents. Like this. Please correct the following error(s): Select a File: Webservice encountered a database error.
Thanks much for the video....great information. Question: can you combine 2 NVC cases together? That is 2 siblings (twins) received 2 cases numbers as they each their own I-130 petition by the step-parent? And would they have to pay 2 AOS fees separately? Thanks in advance.
Hi, if someone lived in another country, they will need to provide police certificate from that other country too. I saw on the video there’s only one section space to upload this document. How can I upload my home country police certificate Plus the other country?
Thank you for your best relaxing way of presenting this frustrating issue.I have got a lot of knowledge and want to appreciate your counseling. But in the meantime How long does the NVC take to send me a letter with the case and ID number to proceed to the visa process. Thank you.
You should get the email from the NVC shortly after your I-130 is approved. How long it takes for them to approve the I-130 is another story. It depends on your visa category and where the application is pending. You can check USCIS processing times here: egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/
I was sent a notice to submit the i845 and i864 to a different USCIS than my original uscis lockbox, a place in Missouri. So far I have pened all my fors and mailed in hand answered documents. I sent a hand written form i864 to the Missouri place. Does my wife in Thailand fill out the 260 there but I pay for it here in USA? Ive been told NVC will send me the welcome aboard pavkage outlining everythong I need to do. Is there going to be a point when NVC says I will need to send all stuff electronicaly. So far ive been sending all by mail.
my dad apply f2b visa for me in 2018 when he had green card but he got citizenship in 2022, so is this make any changes for my process or not ? do we need to inform about this to NVC or not? There is 2 table for visa bulletin A. FINAL ACTION DATES FOR FAMILY-SPONSORED PREFERENCE CASES B. DATES FOR FILING FAMILY-SPONSORED VISA APPLICATIONS, so which one is for my case ? I already got nvc and invoice id number in 2021.
Hi!! My case has been trf to the Mumbai consulate by NVC. The immigration appointment was in May 2023, which I missed. It was F3 category. But the main applicant appeared for the interview and was granted the visa. Now I want to schedule another appointment for me, but not able to find the option to reschedule the appointment. Pls advice. I contacted the Mumbai consulate on call center numbers and sent mails numerous times. But still no solution to it. Pls help
Hi - I am really sorry but I do not normally deal with the Mumbai consulate, so I don't have any inside knowledge on how to contact them. I went to the consulate specific information for the Mumbai consulate and saw this email: support-india@ustraveldocs.com. This is for cancelling or rescheduling appointments. These are the phone numbers listed: 91-120-4844644 or 91-40-4625-822 From the U.S.: 703-520-2239 I know you said you already emailed and called, but if you have not tried these specific emails/phone numbers I would try them. If you have already tried these points of contact, I apologize but I don't have any other information for that consulate.
First of all I’m a new subscriber. Good luck on your channel. I have been watching all your videos. I watch a lot of others too. My situation is different as I am sponsoring 3 At once. My Filipina wife and her two teenage children. Ours is still in USCIS. I’m just trying to prepare for the next step. I realize I will have 3 fees to pay. My question is affidavit of support. Will I have to fill out 3 financial supports or just one with my wife and add the 2 dependent children
Hi My case i-130 got approved after 11 months and sent to NVC but before that i am already in USA with b1/b2 visa and apply i-485 Aos Also got approved after 82days without interview do i have to notified the NVC ?

The NVC will contact you when they first receive the file and then again when your visa priority date is current. You can check whether your visa priority date is current here: travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/legal/visa-law0/visa-bulletin.html. You can do an inquiry to the NVC using this form: travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/ask-nvc.html

It depends. If the retired US army veteran makes sufficient income in retirement, or has sufficient assets, a co-sponsor will not be needed. If they do not have sufficient income/assets then they will need a co-sponsor. Determining whether their income and assets are sufficient is a detailed inquiry into their personal circumstances that I am unable to help you with in this medium. But if you have their asset/income information and you know their household size, you can check the minimum requirements here: www.uscis.gov/i-864p
Hello. My husband 🇩🇿& myself🇵🇷🇺🇸. We are at the FINAL stretch. We got married last year in Turkey and turned in Turkish papers & translated one’s- Algerian marriage paper for his country & translation and the did not accepted. What is the CORRECT marriage papers or certificate or translation do we need? Thank you!
The way to know what documents are accepted from each country is to look it up on the reciprocity table: tent/travel/en/us-visas/Visa-Reciprocity-and-Civil-Documents-by-Country.html. I can do a video on this - I have a long list of videos to record, so it won't be right away, but I will put it on the list.
٠We received a letter saying NVC received your fiances' approved I 129F, it has a case number but no Invoice ID #, in next step it says "go to our website.... to lear how to apply for k1 visa and prepare for interview"... I'm confused whether that's the welcome letter or not because to check my status it asks for invoice iD # which i didn't receive. I don't know I'm suppose to pay the fees now or am i waiting for another email?
My apologies, but I don't do fiance petitions so I don't know the exact steps. The video I created is specifically for the context of an I-130, which is for married couples. I would follow the NVC instructions specifically or contact a local attorney who specializes in fiance visa applications.
Hello merry Christmas and how are you doing today i appreciate you for the amazing videos ...I am a Nigerian I I and I DQ On 5th of May 2023 (visa class cr1) when do you think my interview will be scheduled???
I am so sorry but I don't have any recent experience with Nigerian cases so I don't know how long the embassy is taking right now to schedule cases. Best of luck to you!
This totally depends on the consulate/embassy where you will be interviewed. I have the most experience with Mexico, Guatemala, and El Salvador. Mexico is taking about a year whereas Guatemala and El Salvador are around 3 months.
Good day ma'am and many thanks for the video. My I-130 application was approved on 03/16/21 and a notice was sent via email on 10/18/22, but i haven't received a welcome letter from NVC till now. Please advise on the next course of action. Thanks.
You should have received something from the NVC after the I-130 was approved. It would have been sent to the Petitioner either by email or mail. Are you the petitioner on the I-130 or the beneficiary? Check with the person who filed the Petition to see if they received anything.
Thanks so much for the response. I'm the beneficiary. I've spoken with the Petitioner and nothing has been received. I sent an email to NVC and they responded that there are no visas available at the moment, that was about 8 months ago. @@rootmigration
@@rootmigration Good day ma'am and thanks for replying to my message. I sent an email and got the response that no visas were available and the time visas will be available could not be determined. I'm not quite sure what to do next and the meaning of their response. To answer your question, I'm the beneficiary and the petitioner has not received anything.
It depends on where your interview is taking place. I have the most experience with Mexico, Guatemala, and El Salvador. Mexico is taking about a year whereas Guatemala and El Salvador are around 3 months.
Hello.im your new subscriber.my i -30 is approved but my i -824 is pending.can my husband process for me to visit him shortly like 6months or year please help😢this waiting time is very painful
Our I-130 is at NVC already documentarily approved last January 25, 2024 were waiting for another update going to Philippines embassy manila? Its already 3 months waiting which is confusing to us the delayed. Our priority date 2022 of March 30.Whats going on?
If you don't have correspondence from the NVC, how do you know your case is at their office? The NVC will contact you when they first receive the file and then again when your visa priority date is current. You can check whether your visa priority date is current here: travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/legal/visa-law0/visa-bulletin.html
F4 stands for family-based category 4 (Petition from a US citizen to a sibling). It is the lowest priority visa category and is pretty backlogged. You can check the approximate wait times here: travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/legal/visa-law0/visa-bulletin.html. This website gets updated once a month. You need to know your priority date (it's on your I-130 receipt or approval notice). Then you can see what date is currently being processed. I will do a video on this in the future.
You pay the fees online at the Consular Electronic Application Center (CEAC): ceac.state.gov/IV/Login.aspx. In order to do so, your I-130 must be approved and you must have received the welcome email from the NVC.
hello ma,am my case has been approved for my spouse 5 day ago . I finally become a us citizen , and i upgraded my status at USCIS i filled a new I-130 for my daughters' under 21 and the progress is 2 months now and i would like my spouse and my daughter come together in US how can i do that?
You can control how fast you process the paperwork with the NVC. If you just filed the I-130 for your daughter two months ago, then it's not going to be approved for a while. You can check the USCIS processing times here: egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/. If you want your husband and daughter to come together, hold off on your husband's case for now and wait for your daughter's I-130 to approved. Once your daughter's I-130 is approved and her case is at the NVC, you can process both cases together and they will have their interviews around the same time (I am assuming they are in the same country). Be sure to check in with the NVC at least once a year while your cases are pending there - that is an important requirement. You can do that by sending them a note using this form: travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/ask-nvc.html
@lovehumanbeings7859 how I am going to do , because my wife case has been documentary qualified at the NVC she is now waiting for interview letter And my daughter case is still pending at USCIS And she even 2 years old.
@@carinagorham2430hi..Have you already receive an interview letter at US embassy manila. What’s your visa type? I got documentarily qualified feb 2024 and still waiting for interview. Cr1 visa also going to texas.Would appreciate your response.
It depends largely on what type of application you are filing in order to become a permanent resident. There is a process called adjustment of status, for which some people are eligible to apply. Others must consular process. It depends on your personal circumstances. The fee to USCIS for adjustment of status is $1,225. The immigrant visa fee in the consular processing context is $325. There are other filing fees depending on the circumstances. To get a clear answer you would need to consult with an immigration attorney.
Hi Mam my i130 was approved, and I received the welcome letter from nvc through email, please how much is your down payment if you help me to fill out the forms. Please I need your reply. God bless you Thank you
I keep getting my payments rejected when paying the fees. I have tried a couple different account numbers and different browsers. My family member is an immediate relative. Have you experienced any of these issues?
