My cat joins me for some relaxed photography of the spring flowers | Olympus Macro Photography

Spring has come to Norway. I visit the forest next to where Iive in order to do some macro photography of the first flowers on the forest floor. My cat joined me on this little excursion and I think that this unintentionally has become my first cat video. Join me for a nice relaxed photo session in the forest and say hallo to my friendly cat (his name is Nalle). For the photogeeks out there: I mostly use photo equipment from Olympus, the 40-150 mm pro lens works very well for macro photography in this video.

Thank you for spreading those good spring vibes! The cat is awesome and has a very exquisite timing/intuition and knows exactly when to walk in the front of the camera or unless “helps” with the lens position 😊very nice and relaxing video👍

We have been enjoying your videos for sometime now & like the variety. Nice composition / light used for the anenome & the wild horsetail fern photos. We couldn't help laughing at how your cat stepped in front of your lens so many times & how it follows you like a puppy! Looking forward to future videos.

Hi Simon, what a brilliant video, well done. I think that it was beautiful to see you cat in the video even if he did get in the way on some of your shots as you said, but heart warming to see the lovely bond you have between you mate.

Thanks! Yes - he is a lovely cat at very good at timing when to get in front of the lens :-) I guess maybe us tiny YT-ers should stick together.

I love this. Especially all the birds singing. I had a cat like this as a child and he followed me in the woods sometimes. Looking forward to the next video. Hope you and your family are doing well.

Thanks! The bird singing are so nice this time of the year. Its very cosy hanging out with my cat - but I does disturb my photography a bit - but again its cosy :-) I have new videos coming up very soon.

Hi Max - It was very cosy and a little bit annoying that my cat found it to be so awesome for me to join him in the forest.... mostly I enjoyed it though!... and I did get my photos :-)
