rolling back odometer is very popular in eastern europe it's not a problem to buy 15 years old with 70k km milage. Also check if it wasn't totaled because body work guys here can do fucking magic
>because body work guys here can do fucking magic I have subscribed to a few russian body shop youtube channels. It is magic. So much stuff that I thought wasn't fixable was fixed.
TheCatMilton yes they repair body but if car was totaled they weld new pieces into frame or create 1 car out of two. Car is not a Lego and if frame is welded or dented that means when you crush it you risk your life
Well, in Hungary, they also roll back the odometer. Not even by a little. E.g. a magazine wrote about a car that was rolled back from 500,000 kms to 180,000. That is a lot :D :D Eastern Europe, yay
I, as a Russian, can say that it's more likely that the odometer was rolled back at least for 5 times and the car was in a couple of accidents for sure =)
Accidents all go on insurance files these days. And records were retrieved. So I call BS on accidents. BTW, odometer records could be found in insurance files as well. One or 2 rollbacks are possible. But not 5!
MOBSTER- WHERES THE BENTLEY, CYKA!! GANG- Um, we sold it. MOBSTER- TO WHERE? GANG- USA MOBSTER- CYKA BLYAT YOU DEBIL Y U SELL MY CAR?? GANG- Cause we bought you a Lada 2106.
How ironic, you have a james bond avatar and nearly named the pet name of his car from the books, called the Silver beast, also a bentley, or was that the saab 900?.
Hoovie perfectly captures what's enjoyable about a used car - learning the history it had. In this case it doesn't even mater if it's good or bad - it's just good entertainment.
-a bentley used by russian gangsters -a 86 camry used by high school brats with grey stains on back seats pick one. there was this top gear episode in which all three bought a e30 convertible andsent it to a csi unit for investigation of their past lives. you should watch it.
Oğulcan ACAR Actually, I'd rather not know😂. I only care to know the mechanical and maintenance history of my cars. As to what the previous owners did in them, I'd rather be none the wiser
I discovered in my 1973 dodge d100 an old Louisville slugger, 5+ year old ipod nano, 4 cd's, a bunch of original trim pieces under the carpet and that the carpet itself had been spray-dyed black. Every time you looked under the seat you didn't know what you might find.
This exact bentley with this exact licence plate was often parked on the parking lot near my office in moscow in 2014-15. It was driven by a middle aged busines women at first, then stood on the same place for several month and disappeared than) at first it had american style fenders.
high level luxury cars in eastern europe are often driven by drug & gun smugglers, corrupt politicians etc.. not many people earn money for these cars legally, that Bentley has an interesting story to tell for sure
Can I ask you something.. Is there any pre owner called Roman with a family name Kogan/Safra? Like the comment so he can see please! Because if there is a guy called Roman or maybe one of those two family name Kogan or Safra, I know the guy. As soon as he said Russia( Moscow) and that the bumper was changed i think thats the car.
I asked a different question and expected answer to my question. I dont give a fuck for Putin, Obama, Clinton, Trump or any other president.. And for the other guy who replied: As you heard in the video the car changed 5 owners.
I heard Russians and Pokemon go... Were colluding to meddle in the election . CNN told me! Im being serious... this was their breaking news today. (Not joking... Go to CNN's website).
*The economy in Russia is actually growing since last year* and has recovered 3/4 of the downfall it had in the previous two years. The sales of luxury cars also grew significantly since last year. Russian high ways are of superb quality, actually. Russian drivers have also grown up to behave themselves better in the latest few years, and this has nothing to do with this Bentley anyway.
damn, the 3 repeat numbers on Russian plates are hard to get. you gotta be something very important or someone dangerous to get that. mostly high-profile gangsters. there was probably someone tied up in your trunk lmao.
In Russia, license plates are random, but until recently you could bribe the cop responsible for assigning plates to vehicles to get a "pretty" one - where the letters form a word, or the number combination repeats or has some sort of meaning. УКВ 222 would be a pretty expensive bribe since "УКВ" means "Very high frequency," and 222 is obviously a repeating number combination. The owner might've been somehow involved with running a radio station. They've started cracking on cops who sell pretty plates, so the only way to get them now is to trade or buy someone else's.
You can still get the real mileage, every electronic block records it and nobody bothers to hack every block. I am watching a russian youtuber, he is a certified car expert and he posts videos about buying used cars, there wasn't a single time he couldn't get the real mileage.
also, "treat every gun as if it was loaded" means don't put your finger on the trigger with a loaded gun unless you want to shoot something, always check if your gun is unloaded before presenting it or etc (don't trust someone or what you might think at the moment) and don't dry fire pointing to other people.
This makes things much more understandable now, I brought my 2012 Volvo XC90 V8, from a Russian woman for $5000 with 30,000 miles on the clock, also the same woman I bought my Soviet millitary 18tonne truck from, she said “it was to big to drive to take her child to school” and I said “well 41ft is quite awkward to get through the city you live in”
I love the channel and I love guns but the irresponsibility with the gun is unacceptable. They aren't toys and never let the barrel be pointed at someone
anybody had this random thought - his clothing and shoes looks more Russian style than American :) ps: this guys is crooked clinton's fan based on "hacking" joke? :D
Nice setup for kids about a gun and a white powder... well you generated tons of views and money from ads just bc of Russia thing. Now provide any legal proof it's from Russia. I can make any video like this with any fancy car and say it came from Russian mobster any day. But kids will believe in anything.
so i guess every time u step on the brakes you hear the word "Bentley"......."Bentley"....."Bentley""Beeeeeeentleeeeyyyyyy" when u press the break 6:58
Yo, Hoovie -- I think it would be a FABULOUS idea (...as in fabulously potentially horrific) to do a Luminol test on the carpet-- both in the cabin & in the trunk. Whaddya think? btw, the Wizard indeed seems like a rare individual that's both a "Technician" AND a "Mechanic". Usually, the two are NOT mutual.
So the entire "Russian story" is based on a photo of a black Bentley with missing wheel caps and on winter tires? You DO know that most Bentleys in Russia are black, right? And most of them drive on winter tires because they are more expensive and therefore cool. Also, I hate to rain on your parade, but Bentley Continental in Russia can never be bought by "a mafia boss". They are considered a girl's car and are usually bought for young mistresses. So in the eyes of 150 million people on this planet you are a big hairy Russian mafia boss...'s girl. And all that for just 27k!!! Congrats! :-)))))))))))))))))))))))
come on dude why fake it, the people watching this video aren't idiots, this car definitely passed through customs search. so stop racially profiling Russians, unless you want a bigger problem than 'drugs' lol... ты понимаешь!!!?
Popularity of exports 10 year ago wasn't about the Russian economy, but the US economy. US Dollar was dirt cheap in the worldwide market, almost half its value. I was an exchange student in the US and had a (completely legit) job as a waiter. Earning nearly $3k a month for a 25 hour week job (not bad for a college student), I didn't want to save money and take it to my home country (of Poland) because it wasn't that much after conversion (I paid a fairly high rent living in La Jolla, CA), at least while still in the US I lived as king. Actually not... I bought over 50 iPhones (they were hot new thing) and sent them to Europe almost doubling their value.
This one wasn't a great deal at all considering what you've already got in it and the questionable carfax. A 2007 Flying Spur with only 42k miles sold on Barrett Jackson last night for 35k. Sure there's the buyer's premium, but still, that's the market value so this one isn't like your 300.00 jeep or even the S600.
You have just won them dumbest customer award. Whole Europe (with few exceptions where they register cars mileage by law) does that to second hand cars, And I mean civilized Europe, not Russia. Now you buy an extremely cheap luxury car with an unknown record (shmarfax does not cover but US), beaten up with low mileage.. Seriously consider using RU-vid from the other side of screen.
Should've called it BLYATMOBILE And yea, forensics checking your car might be a good idea since it has got shady history (especially those 10 years, who knows it might be a drug dealers car before)
And you say Russian mob,and govermant taje car 5 times?hmmm let me think this my Mr.Pitin work his job?when i was first time in Moscow i ask my self were are the Rus mobs?hmmm intresting answer i got: 1.cemetary/siberian jail 2.Sochi 3.San Francisko For 1.5 half year living in moscow from 2016,i have just one time almost negative expiriance, and be at amost all part in Moscow, many time alone at night + dont know Rus lenguage. Only one time 2,3 drunk football fans come into metro start to jerk people,i be reddy to smack tham,me and one Russian guy if they come close to us,buy next metro stacion, police jums and take tham,i can say you a lot of police and police in civil im Moscow and cameras are on each spot, this is what is really pozitive.By media i have not good picture abot safe Moscow is safe for rest i dont know not be
I love how bad VAG are at brakes though. You say they look big, but they're still just huge one sided one piston things. Utterly hopeless on a car of this performance. Yes they'll stop you from 200mph back to 0.... ONCE, and then they'll be melted.
I think you overpaid. A quick search for 2004 Bentley Continental GT's show them advertised by dealers with fewer than 60k miles for less than $45k. These include limited warranties. As these are dealer retail prices, I'm sure one could be purchased at a wholesale auction for substantially less, without the questionable history of your purchase.
