That's what old landys and, dare I say, Lada Nivas are for. We have a right riot going through deep puddles and all kinds of crazy ditches with those old hoopties. Sometimes something breaks or is a bit wonky, but that's nothing a stickwelder or a bit of gentle persuasion with a hammer can't often fix. That's what we ride in Europe, I think it's different types in your part of the world but I bet that hammer and stickwelder or other crude tool are sufficient too to fix these beasts.
Not with a Lada Niva or a Land Rover Defender or a Toyota HZJ make for that . You scratching the land with these kind of off road vehicules 😋 Bentayga is just good to scratching the parking lot of the Yacht club no more or less .
I have a 2000 mercury mountaineer (ford explorer) and while it’s not the prettiest thing, I absolutely love it. Thing has been dependable as hell and if I accidentally scrape against a rock or post in a parking lot, it doesn’t matter. Beaters are great cars as long as you can put up with having the ugliest car on the road.
@@ElizabethKBrunn he knew what he was doing. The vehicle was never going to get damaged. Relax and enjoy the video for what it is, entertainment. It’s not like this is some how-to instructional channel.
Fun fact: the bodys of the Lamborghini Urus and Bentley Bentayga get build in a special section of the VW plant in Zwickau east germany. The mighty Trabant got produced in the same town and today the rest of the plant produces electric vehicles like the ID.3/4 and Audi Q4etron. After the bodys get build they get either shipped to Bentley in england or Lamborghini in italy :)
Zwickau is a shit plant.... the problems I see from cars built there... Terrible build quality... it is known as the "mexico" of Germany regarding its quality
@@Brian-jv8iy really ???. Could you qualify that and be more specific on what features ? I would qualify that horsepower, suspension, steering, and size are kind of important differentiating factors notwithstanding excluding consideration of materials. If I am riding blindfolded I could definitely tell if am in a Bentyga or Touareg
Hoovie I'm not sure why, but your 456 is my favorite of the fleet.. I would have never guessed that my taste would mature into a 456 being my favorite over every other exotic, but as you mentioned in a previous video, it's just timeless and really aged perfectly! Love everything about it.
I take better care of my cars in a videogame than Hoovie does with his cars irl. I'd never take my GTA Bentayga offroad because that 600hp engine just means more powerful wheelspin while being stuck.
This was the first video he’s made IMO that was just ignorant. It wasn’t funny dumb either it was literally just stupid. Why abuse that Bentley? Like what was the point?
It’s no different than on a VW Touareg. Only in the US, luxury brands have magically the paint cost more, or identical parts as cheaper brands more expensive.
H: "What do you think about maintaining this thing over the next 5 years?" thinking about cost. CW: "Shouldn't be too bad." thinking about space in the engine bay.
This video reminded me of some of the early Hoovie videos, off-roading the Lexus SUV (and into the water) and climbing that mountain in the AWD minivan. Loved it!
I remember when these came out they had some really impressive demos of the off road capabilities and I thought 'the people that buy these are not going to off toad them' and here we are. I certainly would take it off road if I had the means.
Oh wow. Just when I thought this Bentley was going to be babied and taken care of, the video starts with you off-roading it. Please give your wife both of the keys so she can hide them from you asap! Lol
Now thats a amazing car :) i like the small details like the tail lights leds forming a B for Bentley. Regarding those covers under the car they are made of Kevlar, basically same stuff of bullet proof vests lol
I had to Google more clear pictures of the terrain selector, because I thought "no way they're actually that bad." But nope, they're actually that bad. Apparently "snow and some Japanese hieroglyphics" means snow and wet grass. "Fireworks exploding under car" means dirt and gravel. "Driving over fallen trees" means mud and trail. Cactus and whatever is beside it means sand.
The Bentayga has a lot of general VAG "bits" (I can recognise bits from my Q7), but you pay for the hand built car and the quality of the interior finish. The body and chassis is aluminium, so zero rust worries (same MLB chassis as the Q7).
Tyler, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE post a video of Mrs. Hoovie watching this video! That will be prime time gold!! I just hope that she doesn't hurt you too bad because we LOVE your videos and would miss them very much! Lol
I used to work for a Bentley dealership in Colorado. So if you want to adjust the ride height you can manually do that in the infotainment system and going to car settings, and then slide over to ride height. You then have sliders to adjust it all the way up or slam it to the ground almost.

I love the Aztek idea tho. Cheap, awd, tent on wheels. I always wanted to make a rough trail rig out of one. I know they're not very capable, and pretty much only 1 wheel from each end does anything. So i'd imagine if the Aztek was sitting at an angle like the Bentayga, those 2 wheels would just spin and leave the car stuck.
Welcome to Hoovie's Garage the ultimate channel to teach you how to piss your wife off. Coming up next episode watch how to live life to the fullest in a van down by the river

"Kevlar offers a better abrasive strength than carbon fiber, which is why it is commonly associated with bulletproof vests. Kevlar is also better in extreme temperatures than carbon fiber, which some indicate makes it better suited in the marine industry."
As Continental W12 owner, i had in 4 years no issues. Only a rubber hose popped of and cause a large alarm. It was difficult to detec, but my VW workshop detected it. May be in a other workshop they would not detect it and caused a 5 digit repair bill.
We seem to have jumped the shark and landed on entitled . Dark, unknown trail without a spotter in what we're lead to believe is someone else's daily driver that they love.
Reminded me of buying my first 4×4 pickup brand new. First thing I did was take it up an abandoned road that hasn't been paved in 50 years. Good times.
Tyler, you finally got your wife the car of her dreams! You were both so excited and literally fell to the ground with her and one of your children and celebrated. Then, you decided to take it somewhat off road , down a narrow trail covered with fallen logs, in the dark! What in the hell is the matter with you? Was that all for content, or do you just not care what you do to her beautiful gift?
Carbon fiber normally cures rough like that. Most aerospace parts look a little similair before paint(different fiber/weave). It looks like the used a cheaper "tooling" pre-preg system for those panels. It means those panels should cost 1/10-1/8 the price of the SVQ(Surface Visual Quality) parts that they use for hoods and dash panels. That smooth finish comes from covering the tool with a smooth metal plate or big shaped rubber chunk during the cure process. P.S. SVQ is the priciest of carbon fiber because the weave must be perfect at every step of production, no resin imperfections, and a perfect glass sheen post-cure.
I made an office chair I'm currently sitting in using a seat taken out of a VW Phaeton. Almost the exact same seats were also used in the Audi A8 and some Bentleys. I always giggle a bit when I see those seat controls in one of these super expensive vehicles. They really are very comfortable though.
Hey Tyler Just wanted to tell you that I had the same A/C problem with my Porsche Cayenne called the dealer because the dual climate control was doing the same thing left side was blowing kind of cold & right side was kind of warm they said that they probably going to have to take apart the whole dash so I decided to get a can of AC Pro for $50- $60 and put that in and it's been blowing cold on both sides very cold for years now I know money is no object for you but probably can save you a $1,000 or more if you didn't already do that repair...
I love the Bentley you do some crazy things with your cars BUT in the background at the Wizards is a Merkeur xr4ti if I’m not mistaken haven’t seen one in years I had an 1987
Beautiful Bently. Full time job buying, selling and repairing. At one time I had two cars, a motorcycle and a boat. Drove me nuts keeping it all maintained. Now one maintenance free car keeps me happy.
i have a 2015 f150 platinum with the massage seats and im the only person who likes them. theyre the air bladder type and i love them but everyone else ive had try them gets mad i even had them try them out. thats how much they hate them lol its very weird to me. theyre especially good when driving long distances though, helps keep the blood moving better.
17:20 Wizard it could be the PRV pressure relief valve on the fuel rail, its very common and cheap $30-60 cheap fix i would try atleast before it gets diagnosed elsewhere!
