The whole story was absolutely ruined in the last minutes. Author thought it would be an even better revenge to replace her with a whole family, but honestly, he supposedly fell in love with a mom and daughter in less than 2 months while he was sleeping around? How cheap and easy is this new love? That's not a revenge anymore, that's a pathetic attempt to hurt. In 2 months you don't even have the time to meet the step kids.

While his clever destructive revenge was clever, it potentially compromised a clean divorce. Personally when she raised the idea of infidelity I would have told her I would initiate filing for divorce the next AM on incompatibility and as soon as she took a man home would revise the filing to infidelity. I would then send the same notification via email with a follow up call to her parents, my parents and our sibs to take initiative on the narrative. That night or the next am I would take care of resources. Once done I would thank the heavens that I learned she was disloyal before we had kids. If she tried to take her plan back because expressing her plan let me know she was at heart a cheater and not wife material.

I am understanding the end section correctly? His new girlfriend, and lawyer (Tara), agreed to him continuing to date his soon to be ex-wife's colleagues to pressure her into a divorce? And his ex finally signed the divorce papers when he got a "glowing report" after one of these dates? This sounds so ridiculously far fetched that it really does strain credibility, even for one of these AI stories.

AI narration is too slow rendering the story boring. Too much game playing. He should’ve plainly told her that if she carried through with this he would immediately file for divorce. Stop with the stupid game playing! You don’t say, “this could have negative consequences”. You tell her what those consequences are before she commits the act. Sadly, I have counseled too many couples who were in similar situations and they all do the same thing because they listen to these idiotic stories as if they are marital advice. They are not! They are entertainment. That’s all! Stand up, be a man, and tell your wife in no one certain terms that if she does this you will file for divorce. Likewise, women. I meet too many people out on the beach here in the Caribbean whose wives were forced into accepting the swinger lifestyle and they are miserable.
