A very compelling depiction of the real costs of infidelity. A broken man. A broken family. All because a selfish woman had to sleep with a coworker a few times. I liked how the husband did not want to hear the whys or justifications. It doesn't matter why, or when, or how many times. It only matters that she did. And that destroyed several lives.

Absolutely the most realistic story I’ve heard on RU-vid!!! Women don’t seem to comprehend the damage done when they’re unfaithful. Nothing can ever be the same after it becomes known. He tried to reconcile her affair but couldn’t look at her face when having sex because he would FOREVER see her looking back at her AP. You NEVER get over it. You’re NEVER stronger for having gone through it. You’re just broken. The absolute best you can hope for is learning how to manage the pain.

neither do men. It was just sex, it didn't mean anything is poor justification and is meaningless. I was bored and wanted excitement also sucks. If you reconcile the replacement relationship is hollow and lacks the trust and respect required to be a love affair. An orgaam is measured in seconds, hurt is measured in lifetimes.

A w§ore only cares about herself. She had a long going affair, hided it, never cared about the consequences for him. He tried, but he no longer could live with that shi1load of scum. Had she ended the affair, confessed to him, maybe she had had a chance. Her friend said it - what did you expect? A w§ore aka vvoman never cares, not about the young kids, not about the family, not about - and that is sure 100% of the time, about her husband. Cheating w§ores are egoistic a§§holes, who only think about themselves. Only if they face the deserved consequences (lonliness, pain, suffering because she now is a overloaded single mother), they regret that they got caught. They think "why had he to find out, it worked so good for me". THAT is the final stroke who break the camels back.

There was a reason why she was cheating...Loneliness...Horny for something else....Wanted out of marriage....Excitement...If he had not asked her about it she would still be with the guy. I don't understand why the majority of guys who contribute to these threads feel justified in criticising men who post stories and experiences and don't immediately go scorched earth. Here's a reminder 1. The story may be a work of fiction. Or 2. It's NOT YOUR RELATIONSHIP. So it's not your business how they choose to deal with it or why. There are 2 children in this relationship. I have no idea why she cheated or if her husband had anything to do with her decision. What I do know is that if she had issues she should have discussed them with her husband rather than cheating but she didn't. The children didn't ask for or deserve this $hit storm. Nor did they deserve to have mom and dad at each others throats. Fair play to the husband for how he handled it. He decided separation/dovorce was best moved on and introduced his new partner to his children in a sensitive way.

@@dboggs175 If you have an emotion based cpu you can, especially when most women dont get the education and conditioning how to handle and control their emotions instead of being controlled by them , like most men do with their aggression and other primal urges . A new intense emotion can easily overshadow a deep old one until the system gets a shock but then its to late .

‘Hope’!?!? She unilaterally decided to add another man into their marriage. Was she ‘in love’ with her husband while she had another man inside of her? Nope, it was clear from second 1. Either he had tortured himself through the rest of his life, propably exing himself or divorce. He was the kind of guy who - a.) do not forgive such behaviour b.) can´t live with a cheating LIAR. The Liar is the problem. The affair, he may have forgiven her, but that she lied, that she lied so often (24/7 for months or years?) broke it. If you have no trust - and he as a cheated on person have ZERO trust in the w§ore - you can´t survive long in a relationship. And he TOLD her. If she had left her job, had written a timeline with all brutal honest details, had she went to IC, had given up all rights on property and kids - to show him - you can trust me NOW and if not, you nuke me - a sign that make clear she give away all "advantages" because she REALLY want to be with him, maybe he could have start to begin (!) to trust a bit, later more. But that also had meant - she need to work on herself for the rest of her life, 24/7
