Black Parade has really come at a perfect time for me. I'm scared, disenchanted with my life, angry at the reality that life has given me, and dealing with so many issues at once. This album speaks to me on a deep level. Plus the music just rocks.

My mother has been fighting cancer for 7 years, every day I listen to this song and understand what they feel, for all cancer sufferers be enthusiastic because this is not the end but the beginning of God loves you

I've been looking around to see where Gerard is now. Not much to find out. I hope he is living as happy as he can in this life he built for himself over the traumas he shared to us in these songs. I can't believe how time passes and things change but somehow stay the same. 14 years back when I was around 12, I cheerfully listened to MCR. Now, my soul shakes from those lyrics and the fact that it seems I learned some goddamn thing: I am this sad song, too. Sometimes going back in times feels like going forward doesn't it? If you are reading this, I wish life blesses you with enough courage to face yourselves through it. This experience can make sense somehow after all that has happened to you.

So I just got into mcr (yes i know i'm late ) and mcr has like the best fanbase i have ever seen in my life ! Like I have seen so many other fanbases and they were just fighting and being rude to eachother, but this fanbase is just so nice to eachother and are also welcoming newer fans who were not able to see them live and thats just such a great thing

I picked up my phone and it was like "13 New videos from mcr"

i remember being in middle school and requesting this song at a school dance because i was ~~**~quirky*~~*~ back then and always trying to get other people to listen to the kind of music I liked. They played the song towards the end and I was sitting on the bleachers because I didn't actually like dancing but when the song started everyone started slow dancing to it as I sat there watching and that memory is imprinted in my mind for some reason.

When this song came out 15 years ago it was one of my favorites even though at the time I couldn't relate to it from experience . Flash forward to 2022 and I'm ugly-crying to it after my best friend built up our romance for weeks, then gutting me by walking out of my life. Left on Read. I hope 15 years from now I come across my comment and can be like "Nah, I'm in a better place now."
