I bought into all of the theories of an mcr reunion. And when they released a song called “Fake Your Death” I said I wouldn’t listen to it until they got back together. Here I am. My faith in this band will never waver.

Honestly, 2:38 is what got me. Its like watching the last recorded life moments of some deceased family member. Seeing them smiling and happy and knowing that it pry won't be that way for a long time. Late edit; Thankfully a long time later, it was ‘that happy’ again. I was there at the Shrine on December 20th, 2019, and seeing those smiles again brought back the same feelings.

Okay so I know this hits differently after the reunion, but it still makes me cry remembering everything that has happened these past years and how we hoped, and then didn't, and then did, and then accepted that they were gone, only for them to return. Now this song feels more like a comforting hug, and it probably makes me cry even more. Just look at all that pain.

James Dewees front man for Reggie and the Full Effect had joined MCR In 2007 as their touring keyboardist, becoming an official member albeit for a short period of time in 2012 until the band's split in 2013. He wrote "upwards of 30 songs" for their fifth album before the band's decision to split. One of these songs, "Fake Your Death," released as part of the band's Greatest Hits album, May Death Never Stop You, in 2014, marking the band's only official track featuring Dewees. My only regret in life is finding MCR 2 years after they broke up. Imagine finding a band that you love, one where you can relate to their music, and everything, and then finding out they no longer exist like it was horrible! 😭

Even when they are back I still cry, this band just gives me an indiscrable feeling, I've never felt it with anything else, only them. Its like this feeling in your chest that just feels so... surreal, The things this band has been through me with is... insane, it was always there for me. Three Cheers to the Greatest Rock Band of the 21rst Century! My Chemical Romance Never failed the MCRmy. The true fans won with them as they gave us 5 Amazing albums from Bullets to Conventional Weapons. They Stayed true to themselves, pushed the envelope, never compromised & played every live show as if it was their last. Thank You MCR for staying dirty, Bringing Your Bullets, firing your ray guns & leading a parade of jocks, preps, posers, shy, awkward, weird, kids to become a family of one. The Idea lives on & will never be forgotten.
