Colin, the quality is 'atrocious' on most of the demos because they are either live recordings or rough mixes. If they are live, they clearly have not yet been mixed. If they are rough mixes, they will be rough.

My band records with my goddamn phone and they sound better than this. Also, I'm sorry but Gerard isn't really that good of a singer when he's not mixed so yeah, that too.
