What if Gerard gets bored at like 2am and he goes to his neighbors house and sings, "There might be somethin' outside your window, but you'll just, never know." And his neighbors get really annoyed and they're like, "Shut the hell up Gerard."
@@Megalaglag Early 2021: Oh God it's getting worse guys please just hide out in your house. Pretend you committed a crime and are waiting for the heat to die down before you leave again.
They did a special show in London for the purpose of recording this music video, I was there and the number of times they sang this song was insane 😂 they’d stop and only sing the chorus a couple of times too then just film us all jumping around while Gerard said some random stuff on stage. Best day ever
Fun fact that no one will give a shit about: Gran Turismo 5 (a racing game released in 2010) used this song as the music for the intro cinematic whenever you start the game. I don't think anyone here even plays GT5, so just scroll past this.
This music video: Gerard doing weird hand gestures: 45% Gerard dancing: 20% Gerard hair flipping: 14% Gerard being sassy: 10% Gerard on too much coffee: 10% Actually singing: 1% If you add it all together its just 100% of Gee being Gee
I live in a small Australian town and in 2017 everybody got super obsessed with song, you heard it everywhere, shops, cafes and anything along those lines. I never heard the name "MY Chemical Romance" but I loved this song and I got exited and wanted to dance when ever I heard. I was about 8 or 9 at the time. I started to listening to this song less and less to the point where I never heard it again, I could never understand the lyrics or knew what the song was called, so I always called it the party song. I'm almost 14 now and obsessed with My Chemical Romance, I heard this song for the first time last year and I thought it sounded so familiar, but I never knew where I heard it before. I showed my mother this song and she told me she already heard it. I asked her where she knew because she never knew any songs by mcr until my My Chemical Romance obsessed auntie showed her the song "Teenagers" 3 years ago. Not knowing this was the "party song" I used to love so much I argued the point. Turns out my mother had a video of me dancing around to this song that she recorded without me knowing and I couldn't believe it was the same song. It just goes to show how much good music stays with you.
Hey. There’s a comment from six months ago that says this. And it has like 700 hundred likes. So did you mean to copy it. Or not. Like it’s fine if you did I’m not going to freak out on you. I just want to know why.
+Fallen_Killjoy same I only found out about them this and Im just depressed about it :( when they broke up I was 12...... when they first got together about a month later I was born :)
I know. I’m so jealous. I wish my sister liked the bands I do, and didn’t think my friends were weird. I feel like Mikey and gee are closer than me and MY TWIN SISTER. WE are polar opposites
There might be something outside your window But you'll just never know There could be something right past the turnpike gates But you'll just never know If my velocity starts to make you sweat Then just don't let go And if the heaven ain't got a vacancy Then we just, then we just, then we just, then we just Get up and go Ladies and gentleman, truth Is now acceptable fame Is now injectable process the progress This core is critical faith Is unavailable lives Become incredible now Please understand that I can't slow down I won't be waiting for you I can't stop now because I'm dancing This planet's ours to defend Ain't got no time to pretend Don't fuck around, this is our last chance If my velocity starts to make you sweat Then just don't let go 'Cause the emergency room got no vacancy And we just, and we just, and we just, and we just Get up and go they want you to be (Who) they wanted to see (Go) kill the party with me and never go home Who they want you to be Who they wanted to see Just leave the party with me and never go home You're unbelievable Ah, so unbelievable Ah, you ruin everything Oh, you better go home I'm unbelievable Yeah, I'm undefeatable Yeah, let's ruin everything, blast it to the back row They sell presentable Young, and so ingestible Sterile and collectible Safe, and I can't stand it This is a letter, my word Is the beretta, the sound of my vendetta Against the ones that planned it If my velocity starts to make you sweat Then just don't let go 'Cause the emergency room got no vacancy Tell me who do you trust, do you trust And we just get up and go Who they want you to be Who they wanted to see (Go) kill the party with me and never go home Who they want you to be Who they wanted to see Just leave the party with me and never go home You keep eternity, give us the radio Deploy the battery, we're taking back control Engage the energy, light up the effigy No chance to take it slow By now I'm sure you know, know, know, know, know (one, two, three, four) Get up and go they want you to be (Who) they wanted to see (Go) kill the party with me and never go home Who they want you to be Who they wanted to see Just leave the party with me and never go home Are we still having fun? Are you holding the gun? Take the money and run We'll never go home I've got nothing to lose You've got nothing to say And we're leaving today We'll never go home I think I better go now I thiank I better go now I think I better go now (go home) Gonna go now, gonna go now, gonna go now, gonna go now Go now, gonna go now Go home
I've herd most if not all of their music (those are two of my favs btw). I didn't even know I found them after they broke up! I thought they we're still together till I found out about a month ago they had broken up.
I remember when this song got so much smack for being the opening theme in the North American version of Gran Turismo 5, but I honestly digged the vibe 12 years later, it's good to see the song's aged very well here
ya'll are like dancing around in your rooms like mad men with the volume full blast and im just here sitting in my bed in the dark with headphones on silently head banging and mouthing the lyrics because everyone in my family is sleeping and our walls are paper thin
i say we make this the gen z anthem. right now we're in our tweens-early twenties and this song just has such a youthful, energetic vibe and if you listen to the lyrics it's actually very anti-capiltalist.
Grandad : who's this new band you like? Me: it's my chemical romance Him: I haven't heard of them before but they sound good, when's their next concert? I'll take you Me: *cries*
probably means something along the lines of "get tf on my level i want to show u something amazing" bc the song is about how nowadays the entertainment industry is a lot about drugs and keeping up appearances and there's less skill and heart because its so fabricated. and also about holding society to a higher standard because the way it has evolved is shitty and detrimental. but im no expert???
