The long awaited video of Finn and Knox meeting for the first time, and we couldn't be happier with how it went! I have a really good feeling the two of them are going to have zero problems bonding. Both chins have such great personalities, and neither has shown any signs of aggression so far. As always, anything can change, which is why we take things slowly and bit by bit rather than just sticking them together in a cage. Chins can still become territorial later on, so its important to take our time to lessen the chances of that happening. For now though, its a celebration of their successful first meet! 🖤🤍

You're a genius for introducing them together with the dust bath, setting them down in it directly! Chinnies love a communal life, so shared dustbaths not only help everyone smell the same, the exposed tummy and clumsy stage of getting back on their feet shows building trust and acceptance. Have you ever sprinkled a little dust on the backs of the fellas who don't quite do the full roll? Also, I know Chins 'recycle' their poo, but would a chin ever eat another's? Finn's jumps to the shelf were amazing, love that they can get higher with their ricochet jumps. One of my chins could reach the doorknob this way during playtime!

Finn's jumping ability is impressive. And, it's cool to see that Knox is abaou 1/3 bigger than Finn. Thank you for the running commentary, I have no context to what I was watching on my own. They do seem to be getting along peacefully!

Wow, this went really well! I tried to bond my chinnies *once*. It lasted about 5 seconds. Pixel made it very very clear that she hates everything that crawls, walks, swims or flies. So, the live side by side, in separate cages.

Finn seems like a really sweet boy. So so cute! So happy to see a video like this of great interactions of two male chinchillas. I have two girls that are very bonded and my youngest is a little rough in grooming and the older one kaks if she is doing it too hard but she is learning since she is baby. I love chinchilla interactions so much. Thanks for uploading!
