i once went to a local store that is famous for their pc customization, the guy drilled a hole to my graphic card so he can screw it, it scared the hell out of me, but apparently it's normal to do those once you're on another level of PC custom

WhyNot indeed, the cleaner version of the "gaming peripherals" is the only thing about gaming gears that is keeping me sane, but still they are so much overpriced, i am really fine with my Leopold 750r with MX browns and modifier gateron ink, logitech Master mouse, and AT ATH M40x.

When I got into pc videos and watching people build gaming set ups, I always wondered why RGB was such a must have, alongside dark surroundings. Personally, I prefer working in a well lit room with light-toned gear that doesn't flash like a pornstar in a "in public" compilation. The dark room adds more strain on your eyes for the same reason reading in the dark is bad and the lights are honestly annoying. I don't care what universe you're from, rainbow lights in the dark look horrible unless it's a Christmas tree. When I saw this video I said to myself "Finally, a computer setup that doesn't make my eyes scream and someone who gets me" and saw that there are people like me who don't like the lights.
@@rpgamezzz270 yall know if you have rgb you don't need it to blast every colour right? You can just set it to literally any colour you want. That's why people like it.
@@christopherlongsworth2591 I think you answered your own question right there. Some people prefer darker rooms, personally I hate being on the computer if the room is well lit. But as you said dark rooms add strain to your eyes and rgb is supposed to work as dim lighting to lessen the strain (this is why you typically add light strips behind the monitor). The rainbow rgb was initially only used by companies to display the array of colours available but somehow it stuck with some people. Still I think most people uses their rgb peripherals in a monochrome fashion.
This man understand me and the adult world.. we want to play but without the RGB colors.. we want everything looks professional and playable but in the same time super clean and fancy but no teenage colors thats for a different time age .. u really have done a great job 👏🏼
you can have RGB stuff and not set it on "rainbow", you could light everything white if you want it to look professional, or some other plain color. I got mine set on all white when ir work, and all red for gaming (because it increases game performance)

I enjoy simple whites and silvers too, but you can do that without hating on RGB and people who have other OPINIONS/PREFERENCES. Did you kook at your profile pic lately? :P It is bursting with color. I feel like many are confusing color with the intensity of certain light sources. When colorful lighting is done right, it is an awesome mood booster.
Technically they're both going for non-RGB setups. However they have fundamental differences between their builds. It's a nice rivalry if we can call it one.
Except back in the 80's and 90's that aesthetic was mainstream and cool and aspects of it still is today to some people (especially zoomers). Everyone but gamer bro types already think RGB is incredibly tacky and ugly
I loved this set up. The whole RGB thing makes it feel like we are always in a carnival or something. This is neat. Compliment this with a white air purifier and its all done.

Been without RGB for years, never could stand it. Growing up if I bought an RGB keyboard I would just set the backlight to a faint white so I could read the keys if needed at night lol
I really want to see more of these builds! Sooo tired of RGB... Thinking of a similar build like this myself but probably not as powerful. Great video!!
