what grade/year are you in?? ✏📚🎓 also i hope you enjoyed this sit-down/more chatty video! i'm sorry if it was boring!! but i really wanted to share this with you all :)
It was not boring at all, you should make more vids abt studying like study with me!! I’m in year 9 (grade 8), probs one of ur younger subscribers! 💝 :)
I think Fordham, you can always go home and have that comfort especially since you don't live too far away. It seems like you really love NYC and it'll save you a lot of money in the long run if you live there as opposed to traveling down there for fashion week and such. Plus, you can always live there for college and then move to DC if you wanted to work in a more political area.
I'm Thalia and I transferred to the University of Central Florida in fall 2022 so a huge shout out to you for transferring to a university!! As for the school choices I think you should choose Fordham University just because it was the best option of all your options
Dear Kateyln , thank you so much for creating these entertaining videos for us, you don't know how much I love watching ur videos and how much of an inspiration you are to me
I’m an accounting major and I just switched from a college certificate to a college degree at SUNY Orange. I hope your decision goes well and I can’t wait for the next video 💜💜💜💜.
This is going to be an exciting couple of years for you Katelyn. While not attending any of these universities I believe that you should consider Fordham more because as you said there are so many opportunities available and you are right there in NYC, while your DC list was more about comfort. Both would be awesome choices but at the same time don't let comfort stop you from getting your dream education/job. I think stepping out of the box is scary but it will be sooo rewarding in the end :).
I am so proud of you Katelyn for everything that you have accomplished over the years and I know that deciding what college you want to attend is a really big decision but I have faith that in the end you will make the right decision! As cliche as it sounds just trust your instincts! Love you and good luck 💌
seems like you’ve got a lot of good schools lined up for you Katelyn! as someone who also spent 2 years community and is now transferring to uni, i ask you this: as you’re preparing to go, what is most important about college to you? staying close to home? the on-campus experience (student life)? are there any absolutes? for me it was location: close enough to commute since i do NOT want to dorm. manifesting your dream schools for you!🎓📚
Love you so much katelyn! I am so happy for you! 💗 so excited for you! 🙌 hope u are doing well! You also edit so well! I literally love your content! 💕 love uu so much katelyn!
I’ve been watching your videos for a while and i just wanted to say congrats! i committed to fit so if you do end up in nyc and are in search of any friends in the city i would be delighted!
I am accepted by NYU as a health major, but i ended up going to wisconsin madison, NYU is super expensive and i just could not afford it. If you are only planning to get a bachelors degree or have the financial ability, then NYU is your school. But if you are planning on getting a masters or a PHD, then i recommend you to go to GW, it is much cheaper and quickly renovating, besides it has a great masters program.
I think that you have a lot of good options but you’re focusing on the buildings aesthetic more so than what the school actually has to offer I definitely recommend looking into the student to teacher rations the fact that DC has a support system for you which is super important what school has a high graduation rate rent prices student support financial support campus life what programs they offer I know you touch a little on that but I definitely recommend looking into what the school itself has to offer and more the academic side ✏️
Hey 😊 I'm in my senior year of secondary school in Zambia 😅 I'm really nervous and anxious about it cause I know I'm 30% ready, But excited to start a new chapter in life... Anyway congratulations on your admissions acceptances 😊✨
Happy for you!! I Hope you have a great journey through college. And it’s so amazing that you are going to film like you always do throughout the journey of college, that’s very exciting. When I was younger I would try and make little videos for memories , and now I look back at them and think they are so embarrassing. Also, I would try to keep up on videos and make them at least every week, and I just posted an update a few weeks ago, because before the update video I posted I hadn’t posted in like 1 or 2 years! 🤍✏️📚
Hi Katelyn good morning happy Wednesday morning and I hope you having amazing day today and I loved your vlogs and you are amazing Supporter and I'm proud of you
I am a student at GW also pursuing a degree in Journalism and I can totally say if you get accepted to GW and decide you want a DC school, come to GW! Our journalism program is great and personally I love the people and the professors in the school of media so much. Also, the campus is so pretty and if you like the city campus vibe its definitely gonna be great for you. The one thing against American is that all the DC schools kind of hate American so theres that warning. But overall, if you are looking for political journalism and a great city experience, GW is the best in my opinion.
College counselor here: FORDHAM. The program and the campus, environment seem to be the best fit just observing you speaking about it and what you're looking for :). It's also highly ranked. It's a top 100 (#72) school!
Omg i would have killed to go to an old looking colonial style college when i was younger 😭😭 everyone has their own tastes but omg the old colleges are so pretty
I’m a junior in high school and freshman in community college :) I will be finishing with my AA degree and high school diploma! Then transfer to another community college to get a degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography :)
Hi Katelyn 🙂 📚👩🎓 I now that you will make the choice that is right for you. And wherever you choose, you are going to achieve all of your dreams ✨️. ✏️
I’m from Germany but I am studying Design Marketing in London. I just finished my second year! I really agree on the fact that buildings can impact you! I decided against the grey central buildings and now I’m in Kingston and really happy🤍🤍
Why would it be fair if YOU got an "exception" to have a dorm but another student still has to live on campus for 4yrs. What makes you special other than your social status?!
Most schools that require you to live in a dorm also have an exemption process. It's very common for non-traditional students to apply to live off campus. She's not an 18 year old freshman coming straight from high school. She had a job in addition to classes. Plus, schools still want your tuition even if they lose the dorm revenue.
