Hmm, never heard of a “bright” autumn before but maybe this is a different system than I am used to seeing. Usually “bright” seasons are just spring or winter, autumn is more muted.
I def think that you can be a bright autumn, bc all that rly means is that you're warm, bight and dark/medum dark, which is totally possible and would land u between bright spring and warm autumn in the seasonal system, ya kno?? Like im not an Expert but i think it makes more sense to be flexible w the seasons
Bright or clear means the color is it's original/true color. For example, blue. Bright falls between spring and winter. When you mix blue with white, you get light shades, light blue. Light is in between spring and summer. When you mix blue with black you get dark shades, dark blue. Dark falls between winter and autum. Mixing blue with gray will give you a muted blue, which is soft. Soft is between autumn and summer. Bright, light, soft, and dark describe the shade of the color. Hope that makes sense.
There are different systems. In Korea, there are often other seasons such as bright autumn, soft winter, and soft spring. Which MAKES SENSE. She is deep, warm, and bright. That does not exist in the Western system but in real life people have these traits. My best friend is soft, deep, and cool which is a soft winter. Soft, light, and warm (soft spring) also does not exist in the western palate because autumn is not light enough but some people look best in soft, warm, light pastels like a soft peach or soft yellow.
For the people saying this is a scam or puts arbitrary limitations on people: This has been around for decades, it's just been recently popularized again by Korea. It's based in color theory, which is absolutely real (optics ain't subjective my friend). Just because you can't see the difference through a camera lens (which always makes colors look off anyway), and without practice knowing what you're looking for, doesn't mean it's not there. If people are having trouble figuring out their coloring on their own and want clarification so they stop wasting time shopping and money on clothes they buy and then never wear, that's their prerogative. It's also not restrictive?? It's about understanding the affect colors have on us, what works with us and what works against when we're trying to achieve harmony (which not everyone is, and that's fine! Look at goths, for example), so that we can make more informed decisions. I can dress outside my color palette if I want and still look good now, BECAUSE I know what I need to compensate for. It's been freeing. Like, what, you think someone's gonna break down a Light Spring's door if they dare to put on a black dress every now and then? 😂 Besides, anyone who gets this service does so probably WANTING to have their options narrowed, like c'mon. Why you out here championing for people who don't need it and throwing around accusations. Smh.
First of all, if you do your color analysis wearing makeup, it will go wrong 100%. We use the colored cloth to see how its color reacts on your natural skin, and if you have some imperfections in your face, the better!! ❤
I agree the pastels looked terrible. You are for sure warm I thought the light and warm were still nice but not as good as the deep and warm colors. The dark greens looked so good and were better than the light and warm. Autumn is your season.
Right? The autumn seasons are dark autumn, true autumn and soft autumn. There’s not even an official option for “bright autumn) smh. Not to mention it was done with makeup on and her hair down. Think she got scammed. Hopefully she can get her money back. Seasonal analysis aren’t cheap.

Umm you’re definitely cool, not warm girlfriend! I’d bet Winter to be exact. She should have covered your hair and asked you to come with no make up. You should do this again - pretty positive you’d get a different result. You’re high contrast!
I found out my hair,skin and eye perfect color using grid(its in the photos app) and then i showed it to chatgpt and i asked it in terms of spring summer fall and winter which one am i? Then i asked it what colors suit me best and what colors should i avoid. Ngl ive been using the colors chatgpt recommended to me and i love how they suit me 😂
Am I the only one who agrees with the stylist? That deeper colors and gold suit her better than pastels and silver? Maybe this is something subjective but this is how I see it.
Yeah I agree, she's so obviously deep and the silver really sent her skin grey and uneven. She has a very bright smile which I think adds to her ability to go bright, but I prefer the colours with a touch of depth to them I think she is a little more deep than bright.
I know everyone’s saying it but it’s literally a pet peeve of mine as someone who is very into color analysis - you *cannot* have an accurate analysis done while wearing makeup. It is not possible because it changes your natural features and coloring no matter how “natural” your makeup is or matched to your skin it will not give you accurate results.
The only deep, bright and warm color that I can think of is a true orange (as in a ripped orange fruit) I'm not an expert on this, so please feel free to correct me in my attempts to explain why Warm colors have a lot of yellow. And yellow is a really light color. Just try to mix red and yellow paint to make orange: you need a lot of yellow and just a bit of orange So to make warm colors deep you need to add black. To make them soft, you put white and black (grey). That's how you come up with the muted Autumn palletes (which I love) Well, to have a bright pallete you need yout colors as saturated as possible, that is, with almost no grey. If you go this way, your warm Autumn colors are losing either depth (and you go into Spring) or warmth (into Winter). The warmest of the warm colors is the orange. You can't make orange cool by adding blue. That's why I think we might call some shades of orange 🍊 bright, deep and warm. I happen to think that it is the most difficult color to pull off. I truly can't wear a pure orange, even if I like burnt orange or its softer versions I hope this helps!
Every time I see these they never seem correct. I think it’s a bit of a gimmick and that each of us just has certain colors that looks best. Not necessarily an entire palette

In the west, color analysis has been popular since the 80s, when women were finally integrated into the workforce and felt like they had their own identity beyond just being a housewife or a mom. Women used color analysis and kibbe body typing systems to look their best and embrace natural beauty. It’s also a misconception that fair skin looks better in a wide range of colors than dark skin, the opposite tends to be true depending on season. If you are from an Asian country of course you will believe everything looks good with fair skin but that’s really not true.
it's a scam. Both look good on you. Restricting personal style/preferences over what some random woman said looks good on you based on nothing is just sad. If you really just your style to be restricted by someone else's opinion, just ask a friend. get pieces of cloths in many colors and just ask people who are into makeup/fashion/beauty. You don't need to pay someone hundreds for this. To anyone who's reading, don't do it. Not worth it.
A GOOD color analyst is going to ask for your opinion as well; they want YOU to see what looks good on you. But not everyone has a good eye for color, so if someone does and is trained in what to look for, then it works. But yeah, at the end of the day, wear what you like & feel good wearing.
you have perfectly fine working eyes i think you can use them to see what suits you and what not .. if you can't you got problem with your two brain cells 😂😂
