Your story, and your telling of it moved me. I embrace you for your generosity, and for the generosity of the many guys whose coming out stories I have listened to over these last months. I have often been moved to tears, as I was by your struggling with relived emotion as you spoke x and from time to time had to halt. What a wonderful doctor you will be. I am 86; how grateful I should have bern had such personal validation bern available in my childhood and adolescence. I was 72 before I came out to my family, my parents long dead. Although I have come to accept my homosexuality I know I carry a residual guilt, an emotional blister. I join with you in saying, ‘I love you all’. We all have much to share. - Terry Clarke, Australia
Really appreciated you sharing your story. I know it was/still is hard for you so know that it's much appreciated. You are one good dude. Never stop being you my friend...

I have watched a lot of Coming Out videos. Yours resonates with me more than any other, and I really respect your perspective. I've got 20+ years on you and am so far behind you. I wish I had your courage when I was younger. I just kept hoping for change (rooted in religion and 1985 fear of Aids) so I wouldn't disappoint my family, my hometown, etc. Now that I'm finally growing past that, I feel like there's no one left to be with. Man, I've missed out on a lot

Love your tufts of chest hair and your hairy arms! I was in my late teens when I found myself looking at guys' open shirt collars to see if they had a hairy chest to complement my own hairy chest. Good for you; love your coming out story!
Helpful in hearing my complexities of being gay spoken through a man many years younger than me, and yet he excaped. Now you are comfortable, dignified, and brightness personified, loved your confidence. Small complaint, didn't want to miss a word you said,, but the music at the level it was, had me thinking I was inside a guitar. But I had a nice view of you.

Just found your vid. I dont know you, but am truly happy for you. It really is a huge weight off your shoulders. Not knowing is the scariest part. All my friends were cool with it. They thought it was something serious that happened to me. Just working up the courage to finally tell my brothers and parents.

I wonder how I would feel if I did my own coming out video. Would it free me of some of my feelings or bring back some negative things that I wish I could burn. How did you feel after making this video ? Thanks for this video.
Thanks for sharing. One thing about the production: the background music was kind of a distraction, and the 15 second musical intro was really unnecessary

Can thank you for your story I am gay and OK! am 63 and just came out a month ago 2019 the thing about coming out is that it is a process. Highs and lows love and support and then discouragement. Have resources we friends, family, hot lines just have support. Dr Can hope you are successful in her school, internship whatever love yourself Andy
Well done Andrew ,to wait until your 63 to come out is just unimaginable .How have you got through life in the closet is beyond belief . I can only think that maybe you lived with your parents and would find it impossible to come out to them and perhaps now your parents have passed on you are able to be yourself without having to explain to them . I wish you lots of love and happiness and l hope you have someone to share it with 😊

You put yourself through so much needlessly as it turned out. It’s a shame you didn’t have more faith in your parents and close friends. It’s hard to know when to broach your sexual feelings to others. Mostly the only people who care are potential lovers. Others don’t have a dog in the show no matter what they think. As a matter of convenience and social mixing it is easier if those who know you well are aware of your preferences. But it isn’t essential. Who you love is your business and doesn’t need to be front page news to anyone. If everyone doesn’t care then that’s that. If they do and are not ok with it then you can avoid them until they finally get on board. You don’t have to please everyone and you never will. What you can’t change about yourself is either accepted without condition or it isn’t. If not then simply go on your way. There are plenty of people who don’t care and they will be very happy to include you in their circle.
