I was between mathematics and computer science, I did choose math, I think cs degree could have been more suitable for me

Love MacBooks but I would recommend a nice windows computer like the Microsoft surface line or Lenovo yoga book. 500gb of storage or more 👍🏾

If your ok with answering, how did you start to learn programming? What do you recommend for someone attempting to start learning programming? I'm a bit timid.

Sorry for the late, I started learning programming with websites I would also recommend anyone starting to start with web dev because the feedback of your code changes is immediate where as setting up a IDE and compiler can be difficult to understand what your code is doing until you run it.

At the beginning of each semester I would print off the syllabus for each class and go through them so I know what to expect (Test/quiz dates) throughout the year. I also joined a study group/chat where we talked about the homework and coursework together.

i’m so late but as recently i’ve been trying to find what college i’d like to attend for computer science. going to a hbcu do you think you got everything you needed in majoring in computer science? as well as after college do you think ncat made it easier or harder to get a good job?

Yes I went to an HBCU specifically because there was more funding for black students. NCAT is also well known for there engineering programs. Being in the field now I think NCAT did provide me with all the real information I needed to succeed in the computer science field as I mentioned in the video my professor Dr. Bryant didn’t play around and will fail students that didn’t grasp the concepts fully. After college it was hard finding a job but luckily some the relationships I built with my peers while on campus helped me secure a job.
