Girl, never be ashamed for living what you love. I’m almost 26 and I loooove stuffed animals and cartoons! I’d choose to watch cartoons over almost anything. My parents still buy me stuffed animals for my birthdays! I have a 32 year old friend who also loves watching cartoons. We should never take things away from people that bring them joy! If your struggle from anxiety, you might want to look into weighted stuffed animals! Mine are really helpful!

Yesss! I’m 19 and I have a basket of stuffies and I shamelessly sleep with them sometimes 😂 and cartoons are so much better then most of the real people shows that are coming out nowadays!

I’m 66 years old and I have over 50 stuffed animals. They all have names. Everything in my home is thrifted, gifts and things I love. I really like your room. It’s so comfortable and cozy

Hi Charley! I can definitely relate to what you said about your love for stuffed animals and how you used to feel a bit embarrassed. I am 23 and still sleep with the same sock monkey/blanket that I’ve had since I was little, every night. I used to be mortified by this and my draw towards cute cartoons and cuddly items, but I agree that these comfort items are SO beneficial in regards to my anxiety/depression/recovery, etc. Thank you so much for this lovely video and all that you do for this community (RU-vid and insta)! 🤗🥰

I have a stuffed rabbit that I sleep with every night. I'm 22 & bring it with me if I ever sleep anywhere else, even in the past when I've been in romantic relationships. My "comfort" items are really important to me, especially at night as I sometimes struggle due to past experiences. Any little items of safety mean the world.

Next time you wash your new plush put it into a pillowcase and secure it with an elastic or zip it up. It protects the plushie and if the beans spill they stay inside :)

If you ever want to remove the old sticker, either use Goo Gone or lemon 🍋 essential oil to wipe the area down on the dish.

I’ve come to understand that a lot of our desire to grow up too fast - to become either more masculine or more sexualized in our early teens - was all a form of internalized misogyny. Every time I put myself down for liking something “childish” or “girly”, I check myself. We didn’t allow ourselves to be feminine, but we try and do better now. Hindsight 20/20.
