Plastic chutney ( cooked with tomato, mango pulp, raisin, dates and little tamarind juice with sugar and popppy and fennel seed as tampering) with Papad. 2. Sweet curd (the thick one) preferably little chilled 3. Rosgulla and Gulab jamun

Carlos, you are incorrect about veg biryani being pulao. It might help to not mouth some rant by some meat-loving person as ‘the truth’. Pulao is made using a distinctly different technique. Biryani, be it mutton, chicken, vegetarian, or any other type, is made using a very unique technique. In each case it’s the technique that defines. Pulao is akin to risotto in technique inasmuch that it uses full absorption of liquid and ingredients are all added to the rice at once. There’s no layering. The biryani technique has no close equivalent - be it parboiling or layering. While there are other slow-cooked rice dishes, but they are not close to biryani in their complexity of flavours. Therefore, it *is* possible to make a meat-free biryani. And it is delicious. It tastes totally different to a pulao. I like the one that I make with mushrooms. The trick is to understand what vegetable will withstand such long cooking without becoming mush.

There's kara boondi made of chickpea flour batter , salt is added in batter and Fried in oil . We add peanuts , curry leaves ect and where as sweet boondi is made from same check pea batter without adding salt and this boondi pearls are soaked or dipped in sugar syrup

NOOOOOOOOO... Now that's cooked up story by meat lovers. There is a different between biriyani & pulao and the way it is prepared. U can't sideline our dish that way..

Sweet bundi or buniya in hindi is fav of many, yes sour bundi is used for making Raita that you love with biryani. Also in India, many vegetarian adds vegetables to spiced rice and calls it veg biriyani that's actually different pulav for many including me where pulav rice is not spiced.
