Most of us polys out here on the mainland feel the same as uce in the beginning. Got love for my island but we grew up different out here. THIS IS MY HOME It’s what we know. Our people on the islands see us different. We had to get in where we fit in.
Fs uce, our people had to adapt to the LA lifestyle in order to survive. The motherland can say what they want but they didnt have to go through what we and our parents did
@@DARUSTA254 I understand that very well, how our people had to fight off invader after invader until we had finally lost. I do understand the sacrafices of our people, its only been 70 years since our people came to America. Its not as of us mainlanders had been separated from our island for centuries. Where ever our people had went, whether it be New Zealand or America, we had never lost our Fa’a Samoa. All I am saying is that some of our brothers and sisters on the island aren’t understanding and they are quick to judge us that have been brought to America. Nonetheless I have nothing but love and respect for all our people. 🤙❤️
Samoans was crippin way back with the blacks before it even got big in LA. Shit, we was out there supporting the black panthers back in the day as well. You got Samoan gangs in Compton, Long Beach, Carson, etc. and they all mixed with black members too. We was and still call anyone outside our race uso or uce and got everyone around saying it back. If you down with us, I swear we’ll feed you, share or buy you clothes, shoes, give you a place to sleep, come to the functions, etc. If we got it than fasho you got it too.
Bro Compton, Long Beach, Carson, Gardena and Inglewood California all full of Islander gangs . We just a minority in the streets, that’s why people not in the west coast don’t know about us . Keep doing ya thang bro n drop part 2
7:16 there was a lot of pain and struggle in the projects, when you don’t know when your next meal is or how you’re going to pay the rent and bills oh then it’s survival of the fittest💯
