My Creature Deck Zapdos Has Returned From TAG! 

Great video mate. One criticism of TAG - there's ZERO shot that a pen indent that punches through to the back of the card is a 9 while your Zappy is an 8. The 8 grade feels artificially low in comparison to preserve reputation imo.

How does the radiant charizard with a worse dent get a 9 while the zapdos with a dent you can hardly see get an 8?

Congrats on the 10 Zard! The Zard with a binder dent, even if a slight binder dent, a gouge of a scratch, and another decent scratch I would not call Near-Mint. Very interesting results. Thanks for sharing your test grades with TAG!

At least they caught the defects. I'm not exactly in agreement with pit damage being a nine. It's my understanding a 9 is supposed to be a representation of "mint" condition, meaning the condition which it was minted in, or close to minted expectations. Also I was previously under the impression that sevens were supposed to be Near Mint which is usually also considered "pack Fresh" at least in terms of selling/ listing on eBay. So it's feasible a pack Fresh card could... Have some surface scratches, print lines, whitening, and silvering. But it's not really fair to say it should have a binder ding or a pit, which aren't pack Fresh. So I do agree with those issues (dings & pits) being an automatic 6 as with some of the other grading companies standards.

lol that 10 zard is pathetic. TAG is trying its best to jump in to the market and get all the press they can by grading BIG cards easier. That top Right back corner is a 10? Cmon man, that wouldn't even dream of a 10 at PSA, even shitty CGC wouldn't make that a 10. Be objective, the bias is unreal. "Better than most PSA 10s ive seen", ridiculous blanket statement. Dent now also means its 8 - NM on that Zapdos as well as a 9 on that other zard. WILD system they have there, we call that damaged where I come from. Thanks for letting me know to never touch a TAG slab. I already have to keep turning down trades at shows for that CGC trash, can't wait until they and TAG are laughed out of the space. The youtubers and people trying to push this terrible system to get eventually get a piece of the company is so obvious lol No one wants this shit lol

Just get the TAG sponsorship bag and call it a day 💪🏽 at this point regardless if you “like” them, you have been giving them some serious attention for something they’d most definitely pay you for.
