Lol I love how honest you were about still using it. The coconut cream one was my favourite and the smell is so amazing, but arch angel actually did dry out my hair over time and lighten the color (I have natural jet-black hair, and my hair was starting to turn dark-brown). I'm not going to act like I don't miss the cream though 😤.

I’m glad I came across this video. I’m going to try the clarifying every week or two week and then deep conditioning. I have to deep condition with heat though because my 4 type hair doesn’t absorb it that well without heat.

With this method, you let the heat of the shower allow the conditioner sink in. I’m type 4 as well and couldn’t be bothered to have a longer step and I find if the conditioner is good and my hair likes it, it still does the job in that 10 minutes it sits on my hair before I rinse it out. Maybe try it out and see how you feel.

It wasn't devacurl products that was making people lose hair..it was the curly girl method..I lost hair even after using other products while still following that method..So do you boo when it comes to what you put on your hair..it looks fantastic 😁

Deva curl has since changed their formula so it’s not making peoples hair fall out anymore. But people and other content creators that KNEW how to do and take care of their hair, started exclusively using deva curl products for prolonged periods of time and it was only then that they noticed that their hair was changing and the damage that deva curl did was irreversible.

@@kj9702 If you *exclusively* used deva curl products, that’s following the curly girl method lol. Deva curl had NO clarifying shampoo with sulfates, and never really cleaning your scalp (curly girl method bans sulfates) will cause your hair to fall out over time.

You can’t! We lose anywhere between 100-300 hair strands per day. I shed less in late winter through the summer. In the fall I shed more for a couple of months. Very cyclical for me.
