MY CURRENT FAVORITE PLANNING STYLE 😍 

Today would have been my grandmother's 111th birthday. She was always the fun grandmother, whether playing ring around the roses or rowing the boat while I swam across the bay or going hiking with us. She taught us how to live a happy life by example, and even at the end of her life (109 years!) maintained a positive outlook.

I'm on an indefinite stationery low-buy because in the past I too collected all of these pens and washi and random ephemera that I was refusing to use because it felt too "special" and "precious." For the past year, I've only purchased a few new items after holding off for months and only purchasing items that aren't similar to my current supplies, so I've mainly been doing the pen and washi planning that you've been into lately in an attempt to actually use my stuff. In 2024, it would be fun to see you commit to an ongoing stationery low-buy and continue trying to work through your stash so we (i.e., me) can have an internet accountabilibuddy!

My milestone is shared with my mom, brother and myself. 2024 mom will be 80, my brother 40 and myself, 60 years older and wiser. Thanks for asking! Always a pleasure planning with you. Stay beautiful and safe in the coming year.

My husband and I had our 36th anniversary of our meeting on Halloween. We forgot this year because of so much going on but our daughter reminded us. He’s in the hospital at UAB trying to get on the transplant list for a double lung and heart transplant. We’ll probably get him listed this week. We are having to move to Birmingham because we live too far away to get to the hospital in time when the time comes. I think his doctors want to keep him in the hospital until transplant anyway because he’s on so much medication and high flow oxygen. It’s been a very weird year. Happy anniversary to you and Jesse!

The day before Thanksgiving is me and hubbys dating anniversary. 19 years this year! We don't keep track of the actual day, we got together the day before thanksgiving back in 2004 so we just celebrate that. Nothing fancy because within 3 months we have the holidays, both our bdays, and our wedding anniversary. LOL.

The hubs and I started dating in 2009. It was a good year. I also started at my current company and quit smoking (for good) that year.

This is probably not the video to say this but i have been looking for your channel for months, I stopped watching awhile ago due to life being super stressful but Im back and I did miss your content! PaperTessDesigns has a weeks size planner. The layout is quite different to the others, so not sure if it is what you‘re after, but it is an interesting planner. Aura Estelle also has a weeks sized planner, which is a page a day after the weekly overview.

December 3rd is my late Mom’s birthday and the anniversary of my college graduation. My bf graduates with his bachelors on December 2nd and I’ve currently resigned from my school so my teaching days are over. Also heavily celebrating the fact that my Celebrations Collection from KAD is coming Tuesday!

Iron absorbs well with vitamin C and taken every other day. Stools may look dark and that’s ok - sticky and tarry though is not ok!

September, hubby and I celebrated 25 years of marriage.

I love your nails! I have hypothyroidism and my thyroid was off, so they peeled and broke all the time. Same with my hair. My doc increased my Synthroid so Im doing bare nails for a couple more weeks to make sure a) the dosage is correct and b) let the damage grow out. I love this simplistic style for Makse. I just got my first Makse this month! Can’t wait to start doing my weekly planning in it. I did a good chunk of the assessment and some goal planning, but I need to still ponder what I want annually and make specific goals. I did the fun doodle vision board page to come down with my overall goals I want in each area, but there are still things I need to consider. I also have to move in a few months, and debt payoff journey was one of my primary goals. So now I gotta plan and budget around that. Life be life-ing, and sometimes when things go all to shit, simplistic planning is they way to go. So I love this! Thanks for the inspiration! That would be my celebration by the way… my mom has cancer (she’s ok, for now) and I suffer from depression and anxiety. I’m on meds and am ok, but because I am on the right meds now, I realized I had two bad behaviors for “crutches” from all the stress. One is nervous eating, which obviously led to weight gain. I am not back on Weight watchers and journaling everything I do, and slowly getting back into exercise, starting with moving 15 minutes a day, on top of walking my dogs, chores, etc. The second tsk tsk behavior was completely derailing myself off a budget and I got myself into a jam. I am back on top of it now, and though it’ll take a few years to pay everything if not completely off, at least a good potion will be gone so I can breathe again. So my two celebrations are from recognizing my behaviors and doing something about them. I love being transparent (without giving too much info on the internet), because it’s important for people to know, you are never alone!

My birthday is this Sunday (19th)! I will be 48 years old. 😱 I can't believe I'm almost 50! Also can't believe I have survived this long on this planet lol. But I'm hoping my new healthy lifestyle will keep me going for another half century lol. I'm getting much better at managing my diabetes and I've lost a lot of weight, so I'm super motivated to keep it up into 2024 and beyond! Wish me luck!

We're possibly planning a trip for January because my boyfriend and I have been together for 10 years!

December 1st is my 12-year anniversary of living in DC, which means that four days later is my 12-year anniversary at work. It's really blowing my mind that I've been in this job that long. Three more years and I get the top end of annual leave accumulation (8 hours/pay period).

I like this spread. Been doing something similar the last month. Anniversary of sorts. I finally wrote down my recipe for stuffing/dressing for Thanksgiving. 2 of my 3 adult kiddos wont' make it here, so now they have "The Recipe". The OG was my mother's with some alterations from me. Also, speaking of snow, my daughter in Anchorage, AK got 10 inches of snow on Friday. Her little white dog disappeared!

I know that you are looking at the weeks size for journaling, which I have tried. Just a suggestion is just a pretty lined normal soft notebook size, so you do not feel restricted if you decide to write more, or less.

Hi Cindy!!! I love HOBO weeks for journals and keep one for each of my kids. Inspired by Sarah Martinez! I also give myself room to be creative with doodles and picture weeks I don’t have a ton to write. Some days/weeks I go deep and other are just fun stuff I know they will get a chuckle out of down the road. ❤

My 45th wedding anniversary is Dec 23. So weird to say that/write it down. I'm mean, how is that possible?? I love these planner pages with washi and pen. I've been copying, the calmness is perfect.

my idea for getting rid of your stash? donate to this newbie!!! kidding lol I have seen a lot of people using a "fun" planner and then using it for journaling and monthly sticker challenges! They say its an easy way to quickly get rid of their stickers but still able to look back and see how they were used.

I have been able to put away money for savings every paycheck this year. I've done the 52 weeks of savings challenge and I haven't missed a week :)
