Listen, if you’re broke…. All you need is a pair of casual tennis shoes and vans. Throw in a pair of optional hype shoes if you have the money. But I’m telling you, vans and comfy shoes you’ll be 100% ok.

Fun fact: You can wash shoes in the washing machine. Cold water, light on the detergent, inside a mesh bag, take out the insoles and wash separatelly, put in a couple old towels too for cushioning, after the washing is over use a hair drier on the inside, then put in some shoe trees, the cheap plastic and spring ones are fine, air dry, either on a windowsill or using a fan/hair drier. The hair drier should be on a warm but not hot setting. Depending on the shoe you can speed up drying with a heat gun, but you gotta know what you are doing and be careful, short bursts and don't linger. For leather, don't dry it fully, rather use some conditioner afterwards while it's still slightly moist, gently heat the leather with a hair drier as you work it in to open the pores of the leather so it absorbs faster and deeper. Makes it very supple and gets rid of creases.
