These days if I anticipate having to put them on and take them off more than once while I'm outside I just won't even bother wearing them. Us blazer owners really all got the same 13.5 hours in a day fr.

No joke, I sprained my ankle skating two days ago(ill admit that the blazers did absorb some of the impact, potentially cudve been a full break had I not been wearing them), but my god, trying to take those fuckers off with a tennis ball ankle. Had to unlace the mfs all the way down and it was still painful

As somebody who’s worn multiple pairs of docs, including several platforms, I have to say that if you’re looking for quality, it’s not going to be it. It’s a rugged stiff boot that the Rose Anvil has critiqued, and after buying a pair of good quality boots (Officine Creative), I strayed away heavily from the platform. If you love the look, go for it, but it’s just for the aesthetic. Though, I own a pair of Kiss boots now, so I’m one to talk.
I grew up on boats and 15 years ago crocs were a deck shoe that cost 15-20 Australian dollars (11-16 usd) I remember when they got bought and tripled in price over next 7 years, fuck crocs they ruined a good thing
They're my most worn summer shoe, not the classics. Basically a nike slide variation. I get the crock tan marks, looks like my feet are just constantly dirty. It's a cute look.

It's crazy how I got new balance 550s before it became a trend and people were clowning on me saying they were ugly or that I was broke because they're new balance, then thats when everyone wanted to wear them.
I have a million and one pairs of birkies, including the mules (and yes, 4-5 pairs of those too), and I love ‘em. Once you feel their magic, there’s no going back to regular shoes. I genuinely don’t even care what others think or how they look. My feet are happy.
I used to buy nothing but clearance priced sneakers I liked, which was mainly composed of Reebok Classics, Reebok Royals, Vans, and Converse, but have started buying more popular shoes for as little as I can spend on them such as AF1s, AJ1s, Lebron 19s, and Lebron Witness VIs. Honestly, spending more money on shoes definitely means more comfort.
After binging many videos i have come to the conclusion that you sir think just like me. Unlike me i have not bad the courage to embrace new and outlandish fashion. The mule style shoe is not practical if you live in a city, like what if I’m getting robbed or something and I have to run, it’s like wearing a croc without the “sport” mode (that strap behind your ankle). I’m 100% sure I would fall.

As someone who wears platform crocs I really do be putting my faith in a higher power cuz I have done the heel cave in rng walk in those and I really only had a higher power left to believe in. I’m risking it all every time I kick those suckers into sports mode.
Your part about the blazers being lame to take off is too accurate, I recently got a pair of replica RO dunks and the zippers are so convenient. I love the height of them and the big ass tongue holds my pants (I wear black Levi 501s daily to work) above them so effortlessly.

fuck haha. I wear my Birkenstocks all the time. I’m a food stylist/chef and they’re just so damn comfy I take the risk everyday that a knife or molten hot candy sugar might fall on my foot, but it’s worth it. I really do feel like a loose canon walking around in them, but I have to put that feeling aside for the comfort.
I love the fact that as he started speaking about blazers, I was literally standing in my bathroom doing skincare routine in the EXACT same blazers colorway. Honestly just to lazy to take them off.
I respect your style but one thing you miss is everyone is different. My tall lean/muscular body type lends itself to certain shoes and clothes. The type of clothes I wear kind of dictate my shoes. I prefer comfort with a little pizzazz. I'm big on Adidas such as Ultraboost, 350s, foam runners, basically anything that's comfy and I can pull off. Jordan 1 lows are cool just not comfy. There are many other things I can rock, combat boots or basically anything u tend to pull off I can't.

@@2000Doriyas not everyone understands and that's reflected by the poor style choices we see every day when we leave our houses. Style is very subjective though, but if I wanted to look like a metro sexual I'd wear combat boots. But I haven't been in the Army since 2012 so unless I'm going for that look I'll stay away from combat boots all together.
I got a pair of docs 2 years ago and haven’t worn any other shoe since. Sure they’ve got a stigma around them, but no other shoe has lasted through every style I’ve tried out, and honestly they’re really comfortable too. Then again, I’m the kind of person who likes getting vaccines because the needles are exciting so my idea of “comfortable” isn’t very trustworthy
the converse high tops have the same problem as Nike blazers. I mean they are good when I take them off while entering somewhere but I had to take them off at the doctor's office the other day and holy shit it was embarrassing. I had to dabble with my feet for 60 seconds just to put them and lace them back up right after.
Would love to hear your opinion after one week or just a view days in Europe. Living in a German speaking country you mainly see Birkenstocks, New Balance (or Veja) and Dogs in town. All other brands (for shoes) are nearly gone. All feet kinda look the same
