@@martindavies6640 Well, nice to know you're still about on the air. The last time I spoke to you was in the 90's, and I've not been on air since, but I should be back in Swansea very soon and I've still got my old Cobra 148. I was originally on CB back in the AM days, I spoke to you on FM through out the 80's and 90's, but was mostly on SSB in the end. You should remember me, I started out as "The Clanger" / 163-SB-94E. Other call signs I later used were 163- DT-117 / 163-ST-117 / 163-AT-117, but my most used call sign was and still is 163-OP-100. In the 80's I used to DX and run nets from the top of the Bwlch every Saturday night with Tony (Crafty Cockney). We'd drive up there and often talk to you on the way. In the 90's you'd often hear me DX'ing from on top of high ground by Felindre (until the DTI turned up one day). The last CB handle I ever used was "T.K." ... Anywayz, take it easy mate, maybe catch you soon ... Dave.

@@themaryjayneexperience5427 Hi Dave yes i remmeber you back then. there was a lot more people on those day's .you will be lucky to find many locals on down here' but hey less hassle SSB is now legal if you didnt know. so you can buy a radio and legally use fm/am/and ssb from 26.965 to 27.405. at the moment the new sun cycle is having an effect on skip propagation. hearing lots of stateside CB'er around 27.385 lsb. So now is the time to get back into the hobby . well speak soon Dave off air at moment but i listen to the CB bands with a small tecsum pl330 swl reciever which works great even with a ting telescopic whip. check out my video of me outside morriston hospital and a station in new york called mario. anyway mate best 73s hope to catch you soon. your friend Martin 163 op75 163sb75d 163jw01 163eg27 163 black dragon 01
