I always feel like that when I watch true crime docs. Like I want to 👍for the narrator or creator of the channel cause they fid so well portraying the event or how they showed their own emotions throughout the narration but then I want to 👎because of the event/story itself because I can't condone that behavior or support it and make people think it's OK cause of all the likes the video gets and the clout the people in the story get for what they did. So I decide to just not respond with 👍or👎

I don't know if anyone can ever 'get over' or 'process' a parent's death entirely. My mom lost her dad and that was when I was still a baby. 27 years later, everytime she would talk about it, she would still cry and say "I'm still my dad's little girl." My heart goes out to you Tiffany and your family. I've been watching you since I was a teenager and I definitely can tell how proud your dad is of you. The fact that he was ready to go tells me that. You're so loved, Tiffany. Forever.

I agree...you never really "get over" the loss. I lost my mom 4 years ago and I have just learned to live with the pain of missing her as best as I can. I will probably be like your mom and still tear up when I talk about her years from now.

I am 19 y/o and I lost my mom this year to lung cancer. She was a single mother and I was her only child. It’s absolutely the hardest thing I have ever dealt with in my life. I have been able to cope by thinking of all the happy memories I had with my mom and making sure that I never think of the...”what if..” “I could have done this better” and all the negative things. Just remember how much you parent loved you and that they are always going to be watching over you

😢🌹I lost my father when I was 19, I'm so sorry for your loss! Is hard to let go I know, it takes time to heal and you go tru different stages off grief! I don't know how it is on the other side, the only thing I know is that is hard to say goodbye! I'm 42 now have my own famyly I guess time has a way to help us heal and continue our life, make new memory's and live happy as our dear parents that are no longer with us will whan too! Your mother loved you soo much and she will whant you to be happy, always remember that! 🌹❤️

The only way that we'll get true peace is if we've repented of our sinful life and asked God to have mercy on us. If we've done that, God promises that our sins will have been punished in Christ rather than in ourselves in eternity. If we haven't turned from our sin and asked for mercy, God promises that we ourselves will have to pay the penalty for our sins in a lost eternity forever. Don't let this happen to you! Why would you? It's completely unnecessary. Jonathan

Dear sweet girl, there is never a good time to lose a parent. I lost my Dad later in life and I grieved as if I hadn’t had much time with him. The pain will lessen over time but you will always grieve and miss him. This experience will deepen your ability to love. I cried every day for a long time. Grief for me came in waves. I would be fine and then I would cry. What a wonderful Dad you have...he will always be your Dad even if you can’t see him.😢❤️

When I lost my daughter eleven years ago, I thought my life was over. I didn't know how things could go on without her. But I really focused on just taking things one day at a time and making sure to take care of myself. I also allowed myself the time and space that I needed to grieve and heal. Eventually, a month had gone by. And then a year. And then five years. Losing my daughter taught me to appreciate the small moments and to make them special. I have a four year old little girl now and we turn something small like watching a movie into a grand adventure. Popcorn and a blanket fort. My best advice is to not let anyone tell you when you are done grieving. Because grief is a process and everyone experiences it differently. Just hang in there and take care of yourself. You have a lot of people who love you.

That just made think that, deeply, you actually never stop grieving, somehow. So there's these times when you randomly start feeling sad about old things that have happened in your life and you're like 'hmm, interesting'. But hey, that's not entirely bad in the end. Sometimes felling extremely sad may even feel spiritual, like you're honouring all your human experiences, your world experiences, life! experiences, [earthly experiences]. So you let them all in. All the feelings in your body, and just cling on to that feeling of grattitude, even for all the worst bad times, and you realize that it's all precious material to work with. It's all your history, and you honour it by making the best out of what you have. Even in the daily little things, there is always plenty of different energies and states of mind, ways of outtering your inner self and perceiving others. And as an awesome friend of mine said to me some days ago, "Si no te sentís plena y satisfecha con tu vida, al menos una cosa tiene que cambiar". And that puzzle piece fell into place. Its actually easy, simple, the 'one step at a time' cliché phrase started really making sense of the big digference it really does. It never seemed so clear to me. So I went ahead and decided that that one thing was putting on new hair. Extensiones. Best decision in life. Ahre xd I can feel ... , joyfull, perky, angry, uncomfortable, accelerated, mad, exstatic, dancy, goofy, , , , (go ahead and continue in the comments, gogogo!) , , determined, enthusiastic, , playful, (you can also get dark, don't mind me ;) ...

I realize this was a while ago. After watching, I hope you are stronger during the progression of processing; with time, you were able to process more of what was happening. You have so much courage for sharing, so I want to say thank you! Losing a loved one or something close to family (family member, pet) is never easy, but it's a blessing that you are able to have family and support team with you.

I’m so sorry for your loss. A year ago I lost my Dad, and the pain is still so fresh. Knowing how sick he got and how tired he was towards the end, I know it was for the best. (My Dad had MS, had not walked in 12 years, was in so much pain towards the end). So hard to let him go, but so happy he is at peace. 💙💙

I lost my dad when i was 14 and my brother 12 to Colon cancer... this was almost 5 years ago and i still miss him every day. But one thing i never wanted to loose and never lost is my faith and the memorys i have with him. In my mind he is and will be there for me whatever i do and whatever life has to offer me. It’s hard sometimes... especially at chistmas or his birthday but it get‘s easier every year. I send you strengt to heal and progress the traumatic situation. Toni

I lost my Dad as well last March, and what I regret the most was I wasn’t there in his last moments. I was studying abroad. I regret, I didn’t tell my dad I loved him enough. I lost my dad back in November of 2019 and grief is a life long process that I’m still going through just know that it gets better and worse deepening on the day and that there is no right or wrong way to feel or grieve, it’s a complicated process.

I lost my dad in December 2019 due to liver cancer. He was my biggest fan and my best friend too. Its hard being there and watching how ur parent dies day by day and u cant do anything to help. What I can tell u is that it’s not gonna get easier, you’re just gonna learn how to live without him. It still hasnt wrapped around my head that hes not gonna see me graduate, get married, get my first job and its been 9 months... but what makes it easier to cope with it is just working harder to at least know that if he was here he would be more than proud. Take ur time to grieve, to be sad, to cry for hours. Its all part of losing someone, a parent especially. I wish u all the best. Keep being so strong💙

I related to your post so much. I lost my dad in December 2019 too due to lung cancer. I never fathomed how much pain a person can endure during a time like that. I also grieve him in two ways - missing talking to him and anticipating how painful future memories will be without him. This all being said, I never realized how much strength I had until this moment. After it happened I didn't think that I will ever be able to function properly again... but as time goes by, you get used to life without them. As you said, it doesn't get easier... you just have to get used to it. Thank you for commenting on this for everyone to read. It makes us feel less alone.

I completely agree with both of you. I lost my stepmom in January this year due to breast cancer. Lately I have been able to see how surviving from the tasks of the daily life has slowly become easier from those chaotic first few months but the pain itself, the grief of losing her, hasn't eased and never will. Like you said, we just learn to bear the pain. The people we love mark us so permanently and the loss of them is so profound that we aren't even supposed to be able to continue life the same way we could before. Im just happy most of the time during that time of the year so it must have been really hard on you guys to lose a loved one on a month of December. I lost my Dad suddenly about four years ago. As with you, it was the hardest thing I ever went through. But as you go through it, it eventually gets easier every day. He’ll always be with you, but the pain will lessen and the joy of memories of him will come to your heart. I promise.

As someone who lost all grandparents consecutively, Grief is the thing with feathers is a beautiful book of comfort and honesty. Also, Lovevie the youtube has some genuine videos on grieving. My heart goes out to you so much, space to grieve is doing what's best for you. He seemed like a truly wonderful man.

“No one ever told me that grief felt so like fear. I am not afraid, but the sensation is like being afraid. The same fluttering in the stomach, the same restlessness, the yawning. I keep on swallowing. At other times it feels like being mildly drunk, or concussed. There is a sort of invisible blanket between the world and me. I find it hard to take in what anyone says. Or perhaps, hard to want to take it in. It is so uninteresting. Yet I want the others to be about me. I dread the moments when the house is empty. If only they would talk to one another and not to me.” A quote from C.S. Lewis’ book “A Grief Observed” which are reflections on the experience of bereavement after the loss of his wife. I think this would be a tough read but hopefully an edifying one. Even though I don’t know you personally or I didn’t know your father personally, I grieve with you. God Bless you and your family.

Oh pretty girl. Your dad lives on in memories. Losing my mum was awful but my therapist taught me to be grateful, as not everyone gets a mum who is so special. In December of 2011, I took my mom to the emergency room because she wasn't feeling well (my mom NEVER got sick). They said she had a mass on her lung and said it was pnemonia. A couple months later, she was feeling better but still felt off. She went back to her primary and it turned out she was in stage 4 lung cancer. She had 6 months. From that point on, everything was a blur. I'm an only child, my parents were divorced and therefore I had to deal with everything (from Dr appointments to giving her an IV at home) all.while.still trying to work full time. I ended up losing my job because they said I was missing too much time for something that would "eventually die anyways." Almost had the cops called because of my reaction. The week leading up to her death was hard. The night before, she sent me home. Told me to stay with the cats and spend some time with my then boyfriend and she'd see me soon. She didn't say tomorrow. That next morning, I got the call. There isn't anything in this world that can help.you understand because that's how death is. But what does help is surrounding yourself with love. Talking about the good times and keeping his memory alive. Losing a parent is an unexplainable pain but I promise.over time you learn to cope. I'm sorry about your father. I'm here if you need someone even though we are strangers.

You were the one that got me through it. You were barely starting and had the time to talk to individuals back then I guess. So I'll say what you said to me 8 years ago. Fight on and make them proud. Let their dreams live through you. She wouldn't want you to suffer so keep her with you always and make the world what they wanted it to be. Keep helping others and sharing a smile. I don't remember exact words but you knew them. Make him proud and never let him leave your heart. You don't have to stop asking "what would ___ do?" Its always good to look up the stages of grief. Everyone goes through them differently at their own speed but its best to understand them as there is no avoiding them. The anger stages tend to break families and friends apart so if someone is going through it then try not to lash back. Just give space. I love you Tiffany Alvord. We all do. And we only know you on this side of the screen. So I know he loved you more than anyone could imagine. I wish your family well. Take it easy Tiffany and don't worry about uploading. The RU-vid algorithm bs can suck it! Maybe we can ban together and hit your comeback video hard to get you trending again "Help those around you. Be strong, be kind, be there. Everyone's life is hard in some way. You never know what they're going through. Help them anyway" without you helping me i wouldn't have helped more people than I care to say. I wouldn't have remember any of her words...

My best friend passed away a couple of months ago in a tragic car accident. She was only 21 years old. Losing a loved one will never make sense but don’t ever forget that they are always with you and watching over you. Prayers ❤️ I’ve been watching you since I was 13 and I am now 24. Stay strong!

I''m incredibly sorry for your loss, Tiffany. Losing a parent is one of the hardest things to go through in life, no matter the situation. I lost my mother when I was 10 years old, I have never stopped and never will stop grieving and that's okay. What you said was really good of you, giving yourself space to grieve is so important. I lost my mom suddenly when I was a young teen and I can tell you healing is a long process, sometimes more painful than other days. Talk, share and heal. I found Motherless daughters helped a lot. To know I wasn’t alone and there were many other people who could relate to how I was feeling at different stages of life. I will keep you and your family in my prayers and know your dad is at peace and always with you in all you do. God bless.

Something that helped me deal with loss is putting my feelings into art, (in my case choreography and dance), sometimes to be shared sometimes just for myself improvising to a song that I connect with. It’s very cathartic and helps me release stuff in a different way. As an artist maybe you can connect with this..? Maybe writing a song or a poem, you don’t have to share it publicly, sending you so much love, I feel your loss in this video, good you are taking time for yourself, take all the time you need, we all love you ❤️

Hearing about this news on your Instagram last month was heartbreaking and I'm sure you're still going through all the emotions as it's never an easy pill to swallow. Processing any death no matter how it happens will never be easy especially when it's somebody close to you or that you've known growing up. You can never care too much about someone and having grown up listening to your music, your videos and perspective on life for what felt like the past decade, you've taught us all so much and your dad now lays resting knowing how proud he's been with you and your family. Unfortunately, eventually all good things come to an end even when we least expect it. When you're living in the moment, time feels infinite even though you know it's not and the clock is constantly ticking. When something like this has happened throughout my life, I found that running, reading, music and thinking all helped whether that be alone or with friends. Reflecting on your past, your present and what you can make of it for the future has left me forever grateful of the memories and experiences endured. You have helped many of us through our difficulties without even knowing it and now is the time we do what we can to help you even if that just means leaving a little piece of what we're thinking. Stay Strong!

Even if I just free write my feelings w no rhyme or reason and something I intend for no one to see. You and your family are in my prayers. My dad died 10 days ago. I've been his nurse for 3 months, from the diagnosis to his death. I got hope till the end that he would be okay. But it didn't go as I've expected. I miss him so much. This feeling of emptiness is so heavy.

I am so sorry. Losing a parent is one of the most difficult things to go through. I lost my dad when I was 9. I am now 18 and in college. The only thing that I can think of would be to just hold onto all of the memories with your dad. Never ever let those go. Spend time with your family. Talk about him and his life, and don’t be afraid to cry. I am so sorry. I wish that no one had to feel the pain of losing your parent. 💛

So sorry for your loss. Sending my prayers out for you and family I lost my dad almost 6 years ago... what helped me was to write about my dad, all the good and bad/difficult times... And I listend to "Be still my soul" to calm my thoughts when i couldn't sleep...
