Just a reminder that everyones struggles are valid. Whether you are being held captive, starving in a 3rd world country, homeless, have a flat tire, a broken phone, or were injected with HIV - your struggles are your struggles and they are hard for you. I've lived a long time comparing my struggles to others because I've suffered with a lot of trauma and mental illness and have been told that it's not as bad as starving or being homeless, etc... When the truth is, if it is bad to you, then it is bad. Don't ever feel the need to downplay your struggles or put them aside because someone else has it worse than you. Someone will always have it worse and someone will always have it better.

This is a BS story. He said he was injected with HIV at 11 months old then had full blown AIDS at age 4 now he has undetectable HIV? You don’t go from HIV to AIDS back to HIV. Had he not said he had AIDS it would be believable that he has undetectable HIV due to meds available now but if he had AIDS at 4 and now 30+ yrs old he would have been dead before he hit 6 yrs old

@@ItsJustSoSweet yes a patient can. AIDS and HIV is base off of viral load. A viral load it’s the amount of copies of the virus that a person have in their body. Once somebody gets to a very high number they are considered to have aids. However, once you start medication and the person is not resistance to the ART medication, the viral load begin to decline. After consistently taking the ART medication over time, the virus becomes dormant and cannot be measured through a lab test which means the patient is virally suppressed or undetectable. The virus affects everyone differently. I currently work as an accountant for the Ryan White Program in my city and I’ve seen clients revert to Undetectable from AIDS

What a beautiful thing to read. My friends 15 yr old niece committed suicide 2 weeks ago. The devastation her death has left is immeasurable. So many ppl affected from little cousins to ppl like me who also had suicidal thoughts during my darkest depression. I can’t bear to think of a beautiful life lost and am so grateful to be here, mother of two, great relationship and a full time job but most of all happy! I was in the process of lossing my foot I was full of self pity. One day in the plastic surgeons office I saw a littlr boy burnt over 90 percent of his body he father put him in a car covered him in gas and set him on fire to get revenge on the mother. I have had 4th degree burns...I know how painful they are the donor sites are for grafts and this little boy was laughing, playing, adored his mom. From that moment on I asked "why NOT me?" nstead of "why me?". It really helped me when I eventually lost my leg. Saved my life.

Christy Ty that’s not how it works in America. If you have a child you are responsible for said child. His mother would have had to find another man and he would have to adopt him. Otherwise the family courts make the birth father pay child support. Men have no options when it comes to these decisions. Women can have an abortion to keep from the burden of an unwanted child. Men have no options, they are just told you pay up.

His attorney might be expressing God's wrath or judgement against that cruel wicked man. Forgiveness is good but when you are in position where you need to take an action against a criminal, you can let that criminal get away stating that you forgive. That attorney is in the position to defend his client not in position to let the criminal go free without remorse.
