you know the part of vinland saga that really makes it special is how it seems to make just about everyone's gears turn. I'm a bit like your dad, I like some pulp action and whatnot; but the way this show makes you question morality is easily what makes it a gem. best possible anime for your pops, you can see him starting to sit on the edge of his seat a bit

Ohhh, its gets WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY better. Just keep watching. Don't worry about the pace, trust me, please stick it out. I guarantee you things WILL pick up & I won't spoil "why" this is one of the best animes EVER MADE. (Concept wise/theme/morals/fighting/etc)

Does your dad talk different off camrea? Or does he have a bit of a speech impediment? Not asking to be rude, but I have one as well that keeps me camera shy. Hearing myself on video and what I really sound like just kills my self esteem. My voice sounds normal to me while I'm speaking. But on video its a lot higher and lispy. Which is scary that I don't notice it >.
Everyone hates their own voice on recording so don’t worry about it too much! It’s the same as when u see yourself in a mirror vs a picture. You’re used to the way you perceive yourself, and when it’s different your brain puts it in the “uncanny valley” even though it’s how everyone else sees u. For my dad, he lost a few teeth due to cancer so I think he gets self conscious when talking on camera, which leads to mumbling and stuff ☹️
@@GoldFamilyReactions Thank you, that was very kind of you. I'm sorry to hear your dad had to go through that. Cancer is horrible. I hope he can get adjusted to being on camera, most RU-vidrs go through an adjustment phase when they start. Btw, would you maybe have him react to the Pyscho series by Mcjuggernuggets? His dad and whole family did an amazing job keeping fully in character throughout that entire series.
