They were best friends, obsessed with the extreme sport of mountain climbing. But in 1999 Alex Lowe and Conrand Anker were separated when an avalanche in the Himalayas buried them and only one survived. Conrad escaped with his life, but three months later stepped into his dead friend's shoes - when he married Alex’s widow Jennifer and became Dad to his three kids. Now, Alex’s eldest son Max (33) has made a moving documentary about the trauma their family suffered. Max, Jennifer and Conrad join us to tell their remarkable story.
