Today’s video is one that holds a special place in my heart. My dad was thinking of my wedding day and our Dady Daughter dance together since the day I was born. He spent my entire life dancing with me every year to be compiled and played at my wedding. He took one small moment of our 2 minute dance and made it into something huge for me. Looking back on my life I notice him doing this often (making little moments into big ones) and I’m so excited to follow in his footsteps and do this for my son. I will always cherish this video and the memories we created through the years by intentionally dancing together.

It can be good or bad, but it is the first man (even if absent). That sends the message (same for boys too with their parents). Some people move on and make it better for their kids. For some, it is a vicious cycle.

Its the informal name for the man who sits up with you when you are sick, goes to your games, let's you paint his toenails, helps you to ride a bike, helps you with your homework and much more. My daughter has a father. The man who helped make her, whom she never sees. She also has a dad, my husband , who is her dad in every way but biologically.

But bad things that happened to us don't mean it will happen to our kids again. I have two precious sons which I love more than anything. I don't do everything right, but nobody does. Nobody is perfect. As long as you try your best and be willing to give all your love, everything will be fine. Don't give up on your dream! You can do it!!!

This is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen or even imagined that kind of love from a father. I literally SOBBED, and I mean gut wrenching cried, from beginning to end and even after. I cried for the father/daughter love I just witnessed. I also cried because I was mourning never having experienced that. Oh, he was alive and still is, however I am 56 years old yet I still mourn. I always wished my father would have loved me and made me feel special. Instead he was not nice and quite abusive. This is so touching.

@@passionfruitprincess my dad was a selfish alcoholic and him paired up with my narcissist mother made for a tough childhood. My husband is like this in the vid with our daughter though. I like seeing normality like this. Seeing real love is beautiful.

@@irishcountrygirl78 Same here! My Dad only ever wanted anything to do with me if it was convenient for him. He actually ditched me completely when he married a woman who didn't like me, (at 4-5 years old) because I reminded her of my mother.🙆 As a result, I dated several men who treated me less than. I finally got lucky and found a man who has loved and will stand by me though anything. I had to learn on my own, but I appreciate him so much more than I would have otherwise. 💖

Absolutely beautiful!! My dad left when I was just 5 & I always wished I had a dad to do things like that with. This video made me cry. I hope this girl knows how truly blessed she is to have had her dad in her life.

What an awesome dad showing a daughter what a husband should be by her looking up at him. I wish every daughter could experience this. If they do then its a much easier view of who God our Father in heaven loves us. Without an earthly father its a lot more digging to understand. I loved watching your video of what it is supposed to be. Thank you for sharing this.

When your Father and family (is Mom filming?) committed to this lovely keepsake they had no idea it would one day be shared on a thing called you tube by their lovely daughter and future son-in-law.

What a breathtakingly beautiful idea you took the time & devotion to bring to fruition. No baby is born with a personal, child specific instruction manual. Parents get to know their childs' personality as time progresses and along with the child, they learn as they go along. From what I can see and it's abundantly obvious, you adored your daughter and that unconditional love, along with the correct boundaries you set for her, has shaped her into the person she is today. I’m crying like a baby. That was the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen. I have 2 little daughters and watching you grow over the years makes me realize how fast time goes by and to cherish every moment with them. I cannot tell you how much this touched my heart.
