Thank you so much for all your beautiful comments and encouraging compliments. It means so much to me and I feel truly humble. No one could ever wish for a more fantastic audience 🙏🙏
I just found your channel and can't wait to start watching your livestream! I loved this behind the scenes look at what you do. What an AMAZING job you have!!! Much Love from Washington State USA 🇺🇸❤️
@@mischiefmanaged444 , I'm a little bit jealous that you've only just found Morten's channel, because I know some of the fantastic videos you will be watching!
Morten is like that one wise old grandfather whose stories we all love to listen to and whose wisdom we often indulge in. Thank you for sharing your adventures and projects Mr Hilmer - perhaps humanity still has hope as long as folk like you are around.
Fantastic video Morten! Your production values have gone up dramatically - beautiful photos as well as video. Your drone work is a wonderful touch and the music you choose fits so perfectly. Wonderful video! I love spring. For me the sound of the blackbird singing in the evening is the start of spring, but I enjoy the swallows as well. Really nice to see a bit of your daily life. Would love to see more of it. Looking forward to your next video.
I’m so happy you posted again Morten. I’ve missed it. I just started my own wildlife photography RU-vid channel and I need the inspiration! Your choice of music, continuity of scenes and narration are all amazing!
This is what I have been waiting for. Thank you so much! Your "wildlife stream" is wunderful and I'm glad that it is seen and being used as meditation even from hospitals. I feel very relaexed when I view it so it's completely understandable that it is used for such pupose. What a beautiful idea Morten.
Only Morton Hilmer would make dowels with a hand plane and drill them with a brace. A true Renaissance Man. This episode has been a long time coming and well worth it.
Thank you for sharing these small snippets of your life with us :) Loved the video. And it was nice to see the livestream from a different angle as I've gotten so used to seeing it from the same one over the past year. Good luck with all the different projects! (Hope your bees are doing well)
Hello Mr. Morten, I have found your channel for 2 years and I am very happy to find it. I am 15 years old. I love nature like you, I have learned a lot from you and I continue to learn. Your videos were very nice. (Please use Turkish subtitles in your videos) THANKS MR. MORTEN💚🌲
Hi Morton great video ! I am in Scotland doing Seabirds, so far Ringed Plover and Gannets amazing you only have the one real cliff in Denmark ! Inspirational stuff lovely coastline awesome !
Beautiful, Morten! I'm so happy to see all that you're doing around your farm, as well as the variety of trips you're going on, to keep capturing the beauty of nature and wildlife. Enjoy, and stay safe!
Do you know what is the best time to photograph badgers/raccoon dogs? Because i found a den near my home in a forest and i went there twice. The first time i went there like 8pm and stayed until it was too dark and the second time I went there it was about 5.30am. But i saw nothing. And also how do I know if it's a badger's or a raccoon dog's den?
I'm sure you probably know this but Swallows are struggling because of netting along their migration route among other reasons. Also the worldwide decline in flying insects is affecting them.
I love your videos Morton! I appreciate them so much! You are an engaging storyteller and following along with you on your trips makes me feel like I'm right there - sometimes freezing cold and other times basking in the early morning sunlight. You are so gracious and humble and so passionate about nature - it's contagious! You have great ideas and your photography and videos are outstanding! Tak!
We really enjoyed this video as always, amazing to see the badgers. Was looking forward to seeing the rest of the Scottish videos, but this one more than made up for it, thank you Morten.
Beautiful video as always Morten! Your videos always put a smile on my face and this one did just that. It is my dream to one day have a farm and re-wild it for wildlife just like you are doing with yours, so this particular video was a big inspiration for me. Thanks again. Stay safe 👍
Wonderful Video Morten! I just hade a small moment of confusion at 2:38 when suddenly the themesong from Shawn James "My self reliance" - Channel dropped in and suddenly my two most favorite yt channels got into a fusion😅but i really liked the idea of you guys being somehow combined because i think this would be absolutely amazing. Keep up the great work!
Thanks for the great vid Morten, your wonderful passion for wildlife really comes through in your videos- I love it! I know I always feel that whenever or where ever I'm out in nature is where I feel closest to God and all his wonderful creation!
Thank You Morten, so nice to have you back. I live in northern New England US, and am a retired dairy farmer doing what I have had a passion for since a youth, wildlife photography. Thank you for all the training you have shared over the years and I can relate to your passion. The first barn swallows I have seen were this week. We have lots of tree swallows around the farm they use a lot of the bluebird boxes that I put up. It is so busy now on the farm with a big garden being planted now!
Barn swallows bring me wonderful memories from my childhood. I grew up on a farm connected to nature. I really admire your passion for what you are doing and sharing with us. Much appreciated. Looking forward to seeing more of your beautiful work.
Hilsen Robert
Thank you so much for sharing. This little spot is quite magical. I love all the variety of animals and watching the seasonal changes! I’m in the states and sometimes I get to watch the sun rise and set twice in one day. ❤❤❤
Hi Morton, I came across your channel couple of days ago and have been watching your videos since then. I’m amazed by your work and your daily life. I’m grateful to watch the life of a person in Denmark down here from Australia.
I am so thankful I found your channel! Such great information and I love your Stories, they are very inspiring and so enjoyable. Keep up the amazing work.
Oh I was so much waiting for your next upload. Love the peaceful energy and I actually picked up my old camera and start to take photos of birds in our garden with my 6 y. old daughter. Thanks for inspiration! All the best!
all your videos have been amazing but I HAVE LOVED THAT YOU PUT UP THAT PROJECT SEEING ALL THE CLIPS OF THAT 1 YEAR PROJECT IN THIS VIDEO SHORT ONES ... ALMOST INSPIRES ME
Hi Morten. Thank you for your inspiring videos. I’m currently using a Nikon Z6 and would love some tips on video settings etc. Your videos are amazing. Thank you again. Steve.
I really love and enjoy your contents so much, i'm new to photography and i really really wanted to become a wildlife photographer. Is there any video of your story on how you became wildlife photographer from zero ? Thankss!!
Seeing the swallows return each year is always beautiful, knowing then that they have traveled a long journey during migration to come back here and give beginnings to new lives. It is a sign that the circle begins again.... It is awesome! Thank you Morten for showing us these behind-the-scenes insights into your life. Greetings from Italy Jack
Morten, good job - but Bjorn is the best of your animals anyway!! :-) Can you please tell us shortly - what's going on with your friend Rune-Malte Bertram-Nielsen, & his Betrtam channel? I am one of biggest fans of him, & i am sure many of your subscribers too. He does not upload new videos for a looong time, since last summer.. I know he has his own piece of land & live on it.. Is everything fine with him now?
good afternoon, I really want to start wildlife photography again and have been working with a canon 7d 8 years ago. At the moment I have no more stuff and I have to start from 0 again. What brand/model would you recommend? canon 7dii, 90d, 1dx (mkii) or are there better nikon option? I would like to spend about 1000,- for my body.
I've felt there's a big progress in your videos creation , that's wonderful , i felt like i'm watching something officiel on Tv i love u man ❤️🌹national geographic
Beautiful video Morten! Will wait for your next production. All the best for your future projects. By the way, how to log in to the Live video of the camera setup?
Hej Morten. It would be nice if you made a video for teaching how you set the correct exposure, because I really like the looks of your videos. Many other youtubers overexpose when filming outdoor. Do you use the histogram? If so, how high do you set the highlight? And which picture profile are you using? I have a Z6 and I think that the Standard profile has too much contrast that takes away a lot of dynamic range.
Hi Morten! It would be so great if you could possibly take us through all challenges about streaming wildlife 24/7 and the gear you use. I see you are using an axis camera with camstreamer, I see that it is entirely powered by solar panels, but how exactly you run internet into those? do they have built in 4g sim cards or smth? do you have a parabolic antena and if yes how exactly do you mount and wire everything? it s way more complicated that it seems at the first glance and I think it would be great share this kind of info. All the best!
