I'm an American who knows that, but I still did a double take. I'm assuming I would do the same thing if I saw "spotted dick."

I know they're alive inside, but their brain-looking creature selves are far more sinister than the tin-can look. The outsides are, unfortunately, cute to me thanks to new Doctor Who (which is 99% of all I've seen). But I wanted them to be scary. Then I watched the Tom Baker serial "Genesis of the Daleks" and RIGHT at the end, well...see for yourself. It's worth it.

Would be nice if he could program a few more voice bytes. Something along the lines of.. "skateboarders will be exterminated" & that row of vacuum cleaners deserved something risqué from the Dalek, like.. "hey baby, would you like to dance?" Or something.

Itv don't know much of Daleks (Its BBCs territory) so they spelt it as Darleks, how pathetic now someone watching this when it broadcast said " how do you spell Dalek?" and so the writing on screen and said "that's how you spell it."

good for you! I was told that I might need a mobility scooter, but ther's some doubt as I'm also visually impaired and they don't know if I'd be safe wtih one. But there is a Project Dalek, and I wrote to them to ask if they had plans for a Davros chair as well as Dalek plans. So who knows ....

Of course, in the U.S., we have shag carpeting, so it works across both sides of the Atlantic.
