Harvest VLOG from October 16 & 17 as corn harvest continues in southern Darke County Ohio. Also my daughter gets to drive the new Versatile 365 tractor and we do our first ever RU-vid Livestream from the corn field.
The 365 Row Crop Tractor is such a beauty. Man, I can`t help: this machine has perfect ingredients such as a Cummins Diesel engine & CAT Gearbox - How much better can a tractor be. So bad we don`t have em in Germany (yet?)
Outstanding video! Thanks for the time you put into this. Corn crop looks great. We're about at the the same stage here in so. Mn. Another beautiful fall weekend here but cold is forecast.
That is a nice looking tractor and grain cart mike. Sure would be a nice Christmas bonus from versatile if they did that and yes your daughter did a great job. Looking like a natural tractor driver .
Nothing better than threading the needle on that first hoop of the grain trailer on the semi. I'd love to do some tillage one of these days. Might hit up my cousin in law for spring tillage.
Hi Mike, I'm a Millennial Farmer bobo and enjoyed your visit with Zach. Your drone shots were spectacular. Since your intro on Zach's channel, I have come over to see what's cooking in Ohio. Great equipment, nice storyline and hope to see your videos on a regular basis. - Dean from Minnesota
Very nice equipment you guys have on your farm. You guys should have cb's to communicate with eachother so theres no guessing what the combine driver is gonna do lol. Good job on your video and its really neat how farmers are using drones in their videos. Looks like you have a new farming partner with Alexandria helping. Be safe esp with this mad virus taking over this country.
I am a new subscriber. I just happened onto your channel and really enjoyed it. I’ve always been on farms and ranches. Growed up that way. Always ran and enjoyed running equipment. And drove truck for many years. So this channel is right down my alley. You’re right that is a good lookin tractor and trailer. I’ve got a farm myself and own a 6415 JD tractor, which I love and several implements. But anyway I really enjoyed this video. Thanks 👍👍👍❤️
You should show the inside of the Versatile and it’s features. Can’t believe they bought the 4wd without a powershift. Been there, done that, wouldn’t do it again.
Love the comment - mind reader for the grain cart operator! I always figured that if I didn't plant it - I cannot predict the direction of the combine. The absolute worse case is terraces.
Thanks for the videos Mike. I'm sure the owner appreciates having a man around to grease, check oil, top off fuel, and stage equipment so an operator can just drive out the field, hop in, and get to work. A question, do you guys use the GPS synch between the combine and the grain cart?
You should be able to run a tank of fuel before you need to fill the DEF. IDK what engine your using but that’s the standard I’ve seen. That way your not wasting money filling every time. I worked on diesel motors on tractors and tractor trailers. Even running stop and go.
You don't see 2 different farmer's fields side by side like that here in Michigan, so it seems weird to me. I used to grow tofu beans for Burtch Seed near Celina, and they really liked our hedgerows. No chance of the neighbor turning around on my field and drizzling their beans into mine. Plus it gives the hunters a place to sit, because we all know the biggest deer hang out at the property line!😅
Are you serious? You don't have a automatic shut off nozzle, but you have some really new and nice equipment, a 135 dollar nozzle would sure save some fuel.
Is it true that the DEF may potentially be eliminated due to pollution contribution? (California may be headed in that direction with the government juice.)
