That JD 8235R seems underpowered for a 16 row highspeed planter, but it looked like it had little issues. Of course you were planting on flat ground.

Very impressive! My old JD8400 will have to plant about 2400 acres this year 30 ft each pass... hope it gets the job done! Followed by the 8225R with the sprayer.

Ooo moist looking soil looks a little different than here where April so far we have had just 6mm of rain with it usually more like 10x that. March was wetter at 46mm but it was so cold and windy nothing really grew much. Last year in a 40 acre field where we have had over 800 round straw bales with the headlands chopped we 200 with the headlands rowed up as well, this year isn't shaping up much differently unless the weather shifts. Almost tempted to find a 2nd slurry tanker to irrigate the pastures with

Mike I thought you were just riding in the tractor because of the auto steer function . You should try doing the same thing but also have to steer & use the row markers . That is the way I always planted ..
