Thanks, I just thought a commentary was more appropriate for my day out, rather than my usual text comments, its a format I should probably do more of, but I struggle with voiceovers, they are hard for me and a lot of work

I would agree with you the ability to walk around without having to push your way through between the stands made for a better exhibition and overall experience. I attended GETS last year, and the exhibition has outgrown the venue.

Not sure the numbers were high this year but the isle width was generous, GETS this year was crazy, as bad as Warley used to be!

@TimberSurf The Key Model World event in April 2024 will be busy because of "The Final Frontier" making tracks 5.

Hi Timber…. Unfortunately I couldn’t make it this weekend due to prior commitments. Hope to catch up with you and the other RU-vidrs again soon…. I really enjoy travelling to shows by train, but very sadly the train service can’t be relied upon due to strikes and general inconsistent timetables.. I try to use the bike depending on the weather.. Enjoyed the video Regards… Steve 👍👍

I get free train travel but no way was I paying £25 to get in. The amount that traders pay for their tables mean that there will be no bargains and the general price of models will only get more expensive as a result. The sooner everyone boycotts these over expensive shows the better.

It's a high price to pay (hence I only intend going every 10 years), but you get pretty much every big name traders and 80+ layouts to see, and according to a lot of my RU-vidr mates, there are definitely bargains to be had! Depends what you want, if you need to see the latest RTR locos, wagons etc, ask the big boys questions etc, its THE show to go too.

Recorded voiceover in two parts, yes slightly similar, but not the same, it was a test to see who watches all the way through and you passed, well done!
