On December 12th, I got to make an impromptu visit to one of my favorite stores, Orbit-DVD located in Asheville, North Carolina. This time, I thought it might be cool to bring my RU-vid channel along for the browse.

Yeah, with it being 2 hours away, it keeps enough distance between me and the location that so far I've made it there 3 times since October of '22. Thanks for the support. I really appreciate it.

This was my third time in store, and with it being unplanned, I went in completely blind. Sometimes, I have a small list to have a few things to go after. This was my first trip post learning about boutique labels. 😅😅😅

Yeah I really enjoy digging through the poster selection. Didn't have room to travel back with any big ones this trip but my bext trip there may be a cool poster or two picked up.

Great video, Juggalo. I LOVE David Lynch. Recommendations: Blue Velvet, Elephant Man, Mulholland Drive, Lost Highway. DickShark?! 😂😂 Yep…..I’m gonna go broke in here. 😂😂😂😂. Judgment Night!!! GREAT soundtrack. “Demons” is GREAT. I still need to check out the sequel. “Waterworld” looks really good in 4K.

I was just at Orbit yesterday! It’s a great place! Make sure you ask them if they have a 4K in stock if you don’t see it. I went there for Minster Squad yesterday, just like with you it wasn’t in the shelf but they had copies behind the counter.

Yeah, that's how I got my copy of Demons 1&2 set. It wasn't on the shelf, but I particularly asked for it, and they had it behind the counter. Great store, amazing staff.

Cool video. I still get DVDs in certain circumstances, like for extras that didn't carry forward, cool packaging, cool editions, or it's something that's almost free on DVD and maybe OOP or prohibitively expensive on Blu/4K. Don't see the point in upgrading, say, stand up comedy from DVD.

I totally agree with you on all those points. Why spend $75 plus dollars on an oop Blu-ray when you find $1 dvds all over the place of the same movie.

I do apologize for that. Who I had edit it for me thought speeding it up rather than cutting a whole bunch of footage would be better. The raw footage was about an hour and 35 minutes long. This was one of our first videos, so we were just figuring things out. Thank you for checking out the video. We thank you for your criticism and will be taking it into consideration with videos going forward.

Freeway II isn't as good as Freeway. I grew up as a teen with both. I don't consider it a sequel. It's different. Worth a watch for sure. While I'm glad to own it, there are way better movies that deserve a VinSyn level special edition 4K that only got standard/bad 4K releases. How do we live in a world where Freeway II has a far better release than Terminator 2? That's criminal. Remember how they had "sequels" in the late 90s and early 2000s in name only? Wild Things, Cruel Intentions, and even American Psycho had "sequels" that weren't really sequels, but they thought slapping the name on the VHS box would help sales/rentals I guess. Freeway II does have a couple of shoehorned in references to the first Freeway, but it felt like they were trying to inject something to fit a legal threshold to call it a sequel or something.

Yeah, I watched Freeway 2 for the first time, just a couple of nights ago. It was an interesting movie, for sure. I am currently looking to get the first Freeway. I have heard that they were only sequels in name. I also like the actors in part one, so I figure that's already going good for it. I've found that as long as I go in with an open mind, most vinegar syndrome releases can be enjoyed. Thanks for checking my content out, I truly appreciate it.
