I remember finding your channel when you first went natural and I would always watch you because I loved how your signature look was a natural fro and how your wash day was very “no nonsense” without sectioning. Very informative and detailed. The steps make a lot of logical sense and appear to cut down on the workload, especially the keeping the hair in sections during the shampoo process. The detangling after deep conditioning. I am sure this will help a lot of people.

So glad to hear someone else say their scalp doesn't like anything on it. When people have problems with their scalp, most advise to put different healing oils, butter, grease etc.on their scalp vs giving this a try (put nothing on your scalp!!!!). I had to figure it out the hard way 😹❤ 👍

You have the most least annoying hair tutorials on RU-vid and the only hair channel I never get sick off! I need to start using butters before I twist too. I’ve been using Royal Crown mixed with Olive Oil which has given me length retention but I’ll add a butter to it too!

I learned so much just now and that's good! Note taken🧾 wash hair sectioned in ties, put shampoo in nozzle container, detangle hair with deep conditioner and normal conditioner with slip. I usually wash my hair in sections anyway but I actually was each section one at a time. I take the tire off and wash each section twice. So this will cut the time down. Btw, your hair in sections was giving me Susie Carmichael from the cartoon Rugrats. I don't know if you're familiar with that cartoon.

I go to the produce section, go to those rolls of vegetable bags, and start pulling up to six sheets deep, like I am buying tons of collard greens! Voila! Instant, free, plastic bags!!!!

@@indriadrayton1132 why don't you just buy normal plastic shopping bags 1 time and reuse them for future shopping trips? We have to pay for bags here in the UK because people don't reuse bags for some reason and it creates so much waste. I've been reusing the same 10 bags I bought last year

Your hair type looks a lot like mine when wet. I used to think I had type 4b/c hair because of how my wash N gos turned out, but I learned that when styling it, my hair needs to be soaked for maximum definition, maybe try that just to see what happens? Either way your hair is gorgeous 🥵😍❤️but it was really curious to note the texture when wet and your application of styling products.

Girl yes!! The key to receiving any texture with our hair is to apply in shower, soaking wet! Especially on wags day. When women let it dry then even sue a spray bottle to “wet”, I cringe LOL. Otherwise it doesn’t nothing. Good luck!

I’ve always been someone that deep conditions maybe once every 2 months, which is a terrible regimen to have...I’m going to take your advice and try to deep condition weekly. Thanks for doing this video. I think my hair is a combination of 4a - 4c. I tried going natural for a year, but it kind of went downhill. I don't think I was washing it often enough (every 3-4 weeks) and not taking the time to properly detangle it. So basically I lost a lot of hair, but its gotten back thick again. I think I want to try going natural again

I love this video , well done on explaining the steps . I will try the nozzle tip for the shampoo ! I use to do oil as a pre poo also but a game changer for that process for me is the African pride aloe pre poo 😄and my favorite deep conditioner that replaced my Camille rose aloe renewal Is the ecoslay banana cream deep conditioner.

Hello Joy-el, :), I'm Bunmi. Thank you for sharing your step by step process and products used. I've heard of the mielle leave in and will try, I currently use the blueberry bliss curls leave-in. I realize putting oil on scalp makes it run and stain, so the pre-poo sounds good. I've been using oil in tiny amounts in btw applying leave-in post wash. Short afro is growing out more but still listens to me :).. Random addition- I notice when my hair gets fuller & very dense for wash & go, it feels like air is not getting on my scalp and can add to headaches, so putting parts helps breeze movement. Leave-in conditioner helps with more fluffiness.
