Martin, I've just discovered your channel, and I'm SO appreciating you and your positive attitude even in the face of serious challenges. Looking forward to watching all your videos.
Thank you for sharing this nightmare with us, many of us would already be dead and you are still here. Yea, PC is often metabolically different, slow growing, lives on scraps... A nightmare. But you're from Switzerland.... that explains a lot.
I'm only quoting Thomas Seyfried and Jane McLelland: if radioactive glucose doesn't light up the cancer in Pet CT, it means the cancer is mainly glutamine driven, which pancreatic cancers often are. Which probably explains the results of keto. I know that theoretically there's an option to do Pet CT with radioactive glutamine. Blocking glutamine pathways is trickier than glucose, but, according to Thomas Seyfried, is possible.
Keto is really brilliant . But as you said, it's radical . Not only you cut off rice , bread and pasta but also most of the fruits which is really hard for people to follow for long time
I really like your balanced approach here. My diet is similar, although minus the bbq! I'm not a fan.. I've got more relaxed about food in the nearly 7 years since diagnosis and like you, have the odd glass of alcohol etc. I avoid sugar but less radically than before but can really feel how addictive it is when i do have it. What about sprouted seeds in your diet? They're an amazing addition! Really easy and cheap and super healthy.😊
