2nd story: i hope op's sister is okay❤. Op saying it's a sin to abort a child but not the SA??!!.... Parents and other family is the sh*t too.. It's better to abort than being a single mom/being in financial trouble/ not being mentally emotionally stable. Therapy will not work that good too.

Speaking as a Catholic, the Church teaches that life begins at conception. However, it also teaches we must approach all people with compassion, especially sinners. That poor girl wasn’t given the support she needed to not go through with the abortion.
Story 2 is proof of why no one should have the power to tell a rap victim what do with their body to carry there attackers child that's not a blessing. The people telling the rap victims carry the product of the assault are not dealing with the pain the victims are going through. Your body your choice!
Story 2 op and the parents are monsters, i hope the 16yo gets help and moves far away. they're all disgusting, being forced, shamed, or emotionally blackmailed into doing something she doesn't want to do is exactly how her situation happened in the first place, i feel so sorry for the girl no one is in her shoes and what if she ended her own life because of the pressure.
S2: It shows how family can put their religion and ideology over morality and empathy, not realizing how ridiculous it is. And here's what I really don't get with stories like this: Jesus spoke to 'sinful' people and even stood up for them, so why can't they do the same? Why not put their bs beliefs aside and comfort OP's sister rather than unfairly judge her? Story 2-i heard this before. I am glad people talk to OP to show him his view of his sister was wrong. If they got their way in making her have the baby, she would have either comminted suicide or abondon the kid with her obvious PTSD. She could have also hurt the kid if she had a flashback. No one should have a baby forced on them.
Story 2: Side story: 4 sisters-19,17,15,12. 19 SA'd by 3 guys. Hospitalized for 4/5 days. The 3 younger sister's took turns staying with 19. A few months later 1 of the guys was hit by a car. Only survived for a few days. A few more months later,the 2nd guy was found. He had OD'd. On the 1yr anniversary of the SA of 19, the 3rd guy was found in the woods. He was tied to a tree. The local carnivore's had taken his life. The old gal that told me this story ended it by saying: Family should be everything. My sister's were everything to me.

The old gal that told me the story,never said it was her family that had/did all that happened. I'm pretty sure it was. She told me a few stories from back in the day. I agree, but I understand why she didn't. It's harder than people think to seek justice for sa. Sometimes you won't be believed, and other times you just don't have enough evidence. Even if she did seek justice, the families of the men might harass her or worse.
@amyyaku5022 This! Even with ironclad proof and/or a confession, you'll still get many people who are more sympathetic to the rapist because "this could ruin their life." Even if supportive, I can only imagine the anxiety this 16 yr old would feel about (potentially many) people outside of close family knowing what happened to her.

The commenters made some good points in S3, how old was SIL when all this was happening, cause it sounds like she was younger. At first they assumed she was in middle school and he 15 (which makes her like 11? 12?) but then he said it happened like three years later, which would make her what? 14? 15? He's still the victim but was she assaulted too? Cause shit like this can be an indicator of past victimhood. Doesn't excuse what she did, but it might help explain and things might be a little more grim than they seem. Especially since there's also kind of hints of his gf maybe being in on it. I don't know, the whole family seems suspicious at this point. If this is a family thing though it's important to bring it to light and stop it before it reaches the next generation.
Story 2: She didn't murder a child, she prevented the genes of a rapist from propagating for the time being through her. And from what I heard from the comments, some states in the US allow the rapist to fight for partial custody. So think about it, a literal rapist getting to influence a child?

Story 2: Personally, I couldn't get an abortion no matter what. I couldn't handle killing a baby. I believe life begins at conception. However, I also believe that the OPs sister did what was best for her mental health, and the family can f off. The sister needs to be in a better environment.

S.2. Yes, abortion is very wrong. But, what your parents did, was just as cruel as what those boys did. Yes, she was "r", but it wasn't her fault, she didn't ask for that. Also fun fact pregnant people are at a huge rise in risk of death by violence DURING PREGNANCY. So F your feelings.
